Feeding bennies in DWC ?

Whatsup RIU,
Am after information regarding what to feed beneficial bacteria in a DWC system. When i was dirt growing black strap molasses was what i used but hear nothing but horror stories about using it in bubbleponic set-ups. Was originally planning on using AN Bud Candy to feed the beneficials i get from using Voodoo Juice & Orca but hear it makes all weed taste the same, not really what am after when trying to grow some fire lemon og kush as you can imagine. Anyone have any alternatives, am seriously thinking off giving the molasses a go but adding teaspoon full to a cup of hot water to liquefy it to prevent drippers getting clogged etc.
Any advice be appreciated,

I would definitely not use molasses in hydro as it in not available until the bennies break it down. Before then it has a chance to suffocate your roots. I like to use dextrose. It is essentially only sugar. Some hydro shops have it but all brew shops have it guarenteed. It is usually a couple bucks a pound. Or, you could feed them fulvex which is a complex carbohydrate that mainly good bennies eat and things like pm can't eat it for sustenance.
