My flower room is 24'x14'. There is a 4' row down the center and a 5'x24' canopy space on either side. I'm using 1000w de inside 37"x24" rectangular non air-cooled reflectors. 6 on each side. It is a basement grow w 7 1/2' ceiling. I'm wondering if this layout best utilizes the light. Canopy dimensions could be tweeked to provide for pathways along the outside of the rows and shrinking the center path to 2' instead of 4' wide. I guess I'd get better lighting overlap in center. Am I wasting light by using a 4' center isle?

Forgot to add this - I am better off with the long side of the reflectors orientated across the 5' width of the canopy as opposed to the opposite? Thanks for any input at all

DE's with 7.5 foot ceilings may get tight. I have 8 foot ceilings and I get most of my lights up between the floor joists to get another 5 or 6 inches.

An aisle can be good or bad, depending. I grow big plants and utilize the "side canopy" with trellis and side lighting. Rolling benches are a good way to pack them in under the lights and still move to gain access.

Some pics or drawings will help.
