Feed schedule check and over feed error

image.jpeg Hey all i was just feeding my plans and made an error on the ec with terra Flores because I was working of a scrap of paper I was given ..

According to the schedule I should have ec of 1.2 ( 1.4 from tomorrow anyway) but I made it 1.6 and fed it to the plants Will it be ok , Is there anything I should do or just ride it out

I rewrote the chart now so I don't do it again!

Anyone mind taking a quick peek to check it looks ok because I was told to add nutes then pc and ec then add formulex and I have been doing but when I check the ec after the formulex that is also jumping up to 2.8 or something I was told to ignore the later reading but is that right ?

Also I was told to buy pk 13/14 but it wasn't on the feed schedule he nocked up for me and advice where to use that?

I'm using 60/40 gold label coco pebbles mix

Soft tap water with ph7.8 and ec 0.2

input the terra in the product line and the amount of litres of water you are mixing.

Look at each product and you will see a rough guide as to which week to use PK13/14, it depends on how long it took your plant to switch to full flower stage.

As for the extra EC, its not ideal but its not going to kill them.

Why are you using terra nutrients with coco though? The Coco range will give you better results if your using Coco
 
Yea i saw that site actually screenshoted schedules to my phone a week ago but I was confused with it as the schedule I was given was different and Like you said I got canna terra ( soil feed) with coco but that was what I was advised to get
First time grow so I been taking so much in but there is only so much before your brain overloads and turns off


Was that part right then to mix feed ph + ec then add formulex last

Did you actually tell him what your going to use for media!

At about 50 bucks a bottle, I could never figure out BUD XL either!! Why that?

If your going to use the Canna line. Use what it's for media wise and use the whole line and don't substitute other things till you know or have learned more/get that dialed in...

HINT: Don't start any "bloom" food till week 3 (use the veg through till then) and mix the veg and the bloom together 50/50 and go 100% bloom week 4... (it'll save you problems that are all together too common around here.

While flushing is up to you in the long run,,,,,,Why? It doesn't do what you think and makes no difference in the taste or how it burns. That's all from a proper dry and cure!

It wasn't sales people sadly it was a friend who is actually using the same stuff on a large scale

He swore by bud xl too

Great advice but but I'm too late in now to be buying a coco range of nutes the cost of setup has cost a bomb and has cleaned me out:wall: so I know it's wrong but I will just have to try and work with what I got for this one :oops:

Flushing doesn't help? I've done alot of reading and everyone says it is what to do.

Can you elaborate?

Haha yeah I get you there Mike, brain explodes or your eyes start bleeding!!
The formulex I'm not familiar with but there are additives and bud exploders out there that say the same thing as far as pre ph and ec before adding. Best thing would be to look for their website, I'm sure they will have some info on that one.
If you cant afford to spend any more then run with what you have but keep an eye on them and be prepared to diagnose any problems in your plants by checking out some good diagnosis charts and site online. BTW a 5ltr bottle of canna coco A+B will only set you back about £26 for both parts, not each! Compare that to what your actually going to get from your crop and its a drop in the ocean.
As to your friend, there's loads of folk get misinformed from a mate, but were not in the 80s anymore, we have the internet. Keep reading mate. Bit by bit it will sink, we are always still learning no matter what our grow experience.

I flush for one week I like to see a nice fade personal preference I have noticed a difference tho my weed can be smoked as soon as dry and be tastey and not harsh then. Just a preference if ur gnna cure there are two trains of thought on it with the flush personally I like to flush I think it makes a difference but again personal preference I can tell u it won't make a difference in yield either way your plants have plenty of nutes in the media to not need more. I guess mines not a true flush either I just feed ph'd water normal amount of water for each plant for the last week
 
I shall keep any eye and see how it goes ... Work is running tight at moment construction industry is shit few weeks left on job and future is uncertain as far as next job is concerned so trying to kee what I have left in the bank for security but if it's that quite I mite end up back down the hydro store sooner than later thanks :)
 
No you talk to some people they will tell you 2x the amount t of water compared to soil so 7 gallon pot 14 gallons to flush out everything with just ph water. Just feed em ph water it's easier and no different in my opinion
 
Ahh. Your talking soil.
I'm aero so I can throw clean water in and change the res if I want. I'll probably check the ppm and change it out if I need to

Briefly, Nutrients go in but can not be "flushed out" by pounding in mass amounts of water through your pot.
Why stop feeding at some point and starve your plant at arguably it's most critical time - The bulking period!
NOTHING in nature or grown by man is ever "Flushed" for taste or (in our case) burn!
I've toured cigar makers and their growing operations or growers that they buy from. Dominican, Cuba and Spain - these are the worlds best tobacco's and NO ONE flushes them! I even asked the question at a Grow for La Flour Dominica. When the grower got the translation he answered with a question back "What ever for?"

In the end, choose as you see fit. I quit flushing years ago when someone smoked the best tasting joint. It was explained that he drys and cures for over 2 months.....He believed the flush was a negative karma to the plant (oh, boy) and came from a tobacco growing farm in the south. They had to cure their tobacco before the brokers or corporate buyers would even LOOK at the crop!

I believe that flushing is a hippie myth derived by stoner "logic", from when a cpl of growers were sitting back discussing how to make their week old from harvest, just dry bud taste better. Later the cure idea came in and made the real difference and the flush just stayed in place........Unflushed weed wins cups.....they just don't tell the judges that it wasn't!

This is simply ri-fucking-diculous ! And you do this at the "huge commercial" grow you work at? Oh, wait, your an extractor for a big concentrate company? One of those I forget which, right??
Now my point is your first line - "No you talk to some people they will tell you 2x the amount t of water compared to soil so 7 gallon pot 14 gallons to flush out everything with just ph water." This is stupid and causes more problems then it's intended benefit !

"Your" solution to simply water it out from some point is doing what?
Causing the plant to use nutrients "stored" in it's self to feed it's self ?
You mean that it's reducing the nutrient level in the plant to make it taste better?

Like how does that actually work? The buds are what the plant is focusing all growth on right now correct? So then, the plant would be removing those nutrients your trying to reduce, from the leaves from all available area's and moving them TO the buds where the plant is now attempting to focus all it's energy and growth because all nutrients from the media are not available to the plant, in it's now stressing act of final push to build seeds to actually reproduce!

Now does that mean that your smoking the leaves? Because THAT'S were the nutrient levels "WITHIN" the plant have actually been reduced! The transfer of nutrient has been going to the buds! So then, what HAVE you reduced?

Guess what that extra "stress" to the plant is actually increasing the chance of?
Herming! Stress at the end of plant life makes plant think. "I'm not going to make it. Gotta pop nanners!"

I feel that not flushing gives me a higher quality product, and NO, Putting the plant in the dark for days before harvest does nothing as far as increasing/improving anything - another hippie myth!

#1: I asked again what you do - I forgot which one.

#2: I took what "method" you prefer and explained the actual reasons why THAT method does not work either!

You can run the Canna Tera line ok. You'll need to add more Ca/Mg as a supplement. You might want to use one geared more towards a pH buffer - like GH CALi MAGic....

Wanna talk about my background as a grower trying to make it a joke so again please go fuck yourself Im sorry my opinion differs from yours it's funny cuz Id bet you've never been responsible for 800-1000 plants and we're paid to take care of them......again my opinion might differ from yours but I don't call out anyone over trying to help someone else have a good day and remember fuck off:bigjoint:
