Anyone think there's a good chance the feds might come knocking to PDX area dispensaries after the SoCal busts?

i heard a few houses got raided, and a local shop was raided by state cops in eugene. it seems things have taken a unfriendly turn.... i wish that the police department made a press statement saying who/why they are targeting so people would know how to best follow the law. its sad that generally the most medical minded and law abiding people fear the reprecussions of the law most, since the criminals dont give a fuck/have nothing to lose anyways.

Oregon US Atty Amanda Marshall says they are going after places that are "trafficking" like the big grow ops that were busted last month in Southern Oregon. While that seems to be the case, they also busted some tiny mom-n-pop growers (in Medford) that grew legally for themselves & a coupla patients, and a dispensary in Eugene. (It was easier to bust those folks than it was to face the scary meth dealers two houses down).

I'm betting that yeah, there will be some busts in PDX dispensaries, as the feds travel North on I-5. <sigh> It's a plant fercrissakes.

I think the best thing you can do at this point is just tend your own garden and close the shutters, per say. It sucks though because a lot of the people who use need MMJ the most are the least likely to have the ability to grow it...I'll be staying out of the dispensaries until we get a better idea of where all this is going. I thought the SoCal bust might have been based on a regional decision but it feels like this is a decision might be coming from the top down.
