What the news doesn't tell you is that 9 out of 10 of these type "shooters" are on antidepressant drugs. The news is not allowed to report that because the drug companies are TV advertisers and their contract states no reporting about their products.
.........and have been under the care of Psychiatrists and Psychologists that have told them all their problems arent their fault. Did your Momma beat you? Did your Daddy beat you? They search for a trigger behind the behavior problems instead of treating and teaching these clients that regardless of their situation there are consequences for their actions. But then again that was Mommy and Daddy's job and they are too busy working two jobs to keep up with the Jones's next door and are never home. In the meantime, PlayStation and Grand Theft Auto raise these children in their absence. As a nation, we have drifted away from family values and family morals so that we can chase material wealth. In the meantime, these children are growing up without the proper guidance. We didnt have these kinds of shootings in the 50's, 60s and even 70s. Dad worked all day and Mom was home when the kids got home from school. Everyone ate at the dinner table together at 6:00 and the evening was spent watching decent TV and doing homework instead of watching shows like Jersey Shore, American Horror Story or glued to Tik Tok on their phone.

Here’s an idea. Copy what’s being done in countries where gun violence isn’t a problem.

Warning: may require observing socialists
If you consider a threat to use a gun against an otherwise peaceful person, "gun violence" then all countries which passed laws restricting or forbidding the peasants from having guns are guilty of gun violence.

That's self evident when you recognize that all gun laws, are enforced with guns, even against otherwise peaceful people.

Warning: May require logic.

it's so much more than poverty though.

when your version of "right now" and the "future" are miserable and getting miserabler , the deterrent of prison time or death from committing violent acts probably seems like not too bad a deal.

these a'holes are ruining it for law abiding and responsible gun owners.
Yep, it's like the cops, people have had their fill of bullshit and when they act, they might over react if pushed too far. The NRA is no longer a factor and the republicans hopefully are in decline.

What will happen if they take more seats in the house and a half dozen more in the senate? There are 20 GOP senate seats up for grabs in 2022, lot's of retirements and the way things are going lately, anything could happen with Trump in prison, not on the ballot, the GOP in disarray and Trump's scams syphoning off the small donor cash. Then there's HR-1 leveling the playing field and dealing with dark money and the corporations writing off the republicans. Also voters rights, both will pass before 2022, Manchin and Sinema will be bought off with goodies for their states on these two issues at least.

Make a better society by making better citizens, this is science BTW. See what your school board thinks of it, I think Joe' secretary of education will like it. Stress levels in kids have been rising in lockstep with technology and screen time, this is exercise and it works like PE does for your body. Once trained in school the effects can last a very long time, a lifetime.

you've been in a funk lately. are you skeered of getting a widdle ole shot in your arm??? lol
Rob is mot eligible for a vaccine, humans only for now, monkeys later, but we'll have to use a dart gun. Then again a Brazilian variant of covid could take care of Rob real quick, since it's knocking down younger folks. Darwin will deal with Rob I'm afraid.

Maybe I missed something but what do trailer parks have to do with mass shootings. Its seems most of these shooters come from middle white collar families and above.
One of the trolls that the racist propaganda pushes is about cities being unsafe and crime infested.

But the racist propaganda likes to cherry pick statistics that paint a narrative to discuss anything to make it seem like there is not a very real problem right now.

I was just double checking that the dude wasn't just trolling us. They still might be, but they had a pretty human response IMO so far. It sucks, but the militarized trolls (foreign and domestic) attacking our society are out in force pushing nonsense to trick people into not seeing straight.

This is why it is hard to not be suspicious when you see a account that has 50 posts since being resurrected after a single post made a decade ago.

America has more people living in relative poverty than the entire country of Canada has in total population. Its pretty obvious Canada wouldnt have the amount of gun violence America does.

Im worried about psychological tests. If the people taling the guns are giving the tests. The results are no guns.

Murder is already illegal. Would a gun law stop this individual?

Im want gun violence to go down, i don't have the answers, but i think addressing mental health in a major countrywide initiative would be huge.
would it be unfair of me to characterize what you said as a big excuse by a gun owner to deflect the conversation away from gun regulations?

Not at all. That is exactlt what im trying to do. I have a stance and a side. Im pushing an agenda.
The people in the other camp are the same.
Ideally both camps come together and figure it out.
My main point was numbers.
I dont think its possible with these numbers to come together and solve the problem.

Because of this the only people who win are the media (selling pain and fear) and the gun companies (selling more guns)

I said i dont have the answers, i made a legitimate point im worried about. I know its easy to point to guns and say thats it. Thats the thing. I honestly think there is more too it.

But the narrative that someone is coming for your guns is not the truth.

I am not sure what your stance/side/agenda here is, but just because you claim a camp doesn't mean that people are forced to be in 'the other camp'.

And your trolling 'the media' is tired. You are technically 'the media' by posting here. Is that what you are doing trying to sell pain and fear? Because I am not.

I bet if James Madison could predict a future where assault rifles capable of firing hundreds of rounds a second existed, the second amendment would be the right to mouldy cheese.

When someone directly says ban semi automatics. That is the definition of coming for guns.
I never said my camp is right or that people need to be in it.
I meant main stream media.
Hunting dying was also brought up.
Its actually one of the fastest growing sports. Particularly with women. I brought up the fact that there are 15 million hunters as well.
My argument is its a numbers issue. So yes you can say Australia does it, Canada does it. Ok we have more hunters than Canadas top 4 cities combined. If everybody in canadas top 4 cities were hunters Canadas laws would not be the way they are.

No that means that they cannot be sold. Nobody is coming for your guns.

I never said my camp is right or that people need to be in it.
I don't even think you have said what your camp was.

Like the Kardashians or something?

Hunting dying was also brought up.
By someone trolling? Why would you think that anything anyone says in a internet forum is not just trolling?

I saw that, yeah totally agree Americans love to kill animals and it is not going anywhere.

Cool, I am not sure what this had to do with mass murderers or the big lie that people are going to come for your guns.
