FEATURE: surrounding area

I was thinking adding a feature like Craigslist/eBay where you can put in your area code and see what doctors/dispensaries/shops are in a 10-30-50 mile radius. So if you don't know a county 27 miles north has meds you will.

Hmmm currently you can type into the search , zip, state,country and it will redirect you to the respective url, if you type in a say a zip code it should currently redirect you to the city that has that zip ?

Do you think this needs to be expanded on ?

Maybe a "not too far from you" like show the surrounding zip codes shops too. Like even a 25 mile radius. I have no clue what zip codes are near me. When I got a list from headshopfinder.com I had to search all the cities I didn't recognize. I seen some that were near me or where I was going that I wouldn't have went to. Even a List of the other shops, after the ones in your zip, according to distance from zip. Like maybe 5 shops closest to that zip. It's something I always wish search engines like that had.

Instead of showing me the 3 in flint, it shows me the 3 in flint and 5 closest to flint according to distance. Would let me know if I wanna drive another 10 minutes there is 5 shops close by. It would be on the map but sometimes maps don't work on a lot of Internet connections.

What I can do is distinguish by ip addres your location, the new method google uses does not work well and you have to allow it. I can get the lat long of the ip address and then search a radius on the home page. Let me give that a shot see what you think.

Ok I made it so it pans to your current location based off google api give that a shot see how accurate it is
