Well, it's true, I was typing my last response while you were replying. It took so long because, well, really, I thought you were joking and I juat couldn't stop laughing. I'm pretty high right now, so sorry about the laughing, dude. But, maybe, well, to be kind. Perhaps you shouldn't encourage new growers to emulate your unique way of growing.
where did i encourage anyone to do anything? are we in the newbie section? "emulate"? really? :?

i am simply sharing my experiences. it is up to the individual as to what they do with it. and it works for me so i keep with it. :)

This thread has went way off topic

imho the info he gave about the way he tops and trims is good info ,

my bottom branches on my plants are the weaker ones also and when i water im having to work around it so the leaves and shit dont get smashed into the ground

im definitely gonna try it and say how it does , ( it never hurts trying new techniques )

some methods works for some people and some methods dont

he never said that you HAVE to grow that way and he never said that this thread was for newbies only , he was just sharing the method he uses when he tops and trims

im pretty sure their are different methods other people use and they share what they do also

just cuz i like my hotdogs with chilly and cheese does not mean you all have to eat it that way ,

Their is nothing wrong with extra info , you can choose to try it out or not

And why is everyone making a big deal about him using cat shit ?

how many of you use cow shit or bat shit , its still ( SHIT )

would it make you feel better if he said ( Cat Manure )

all methods of growing started from some where , from cow and bat shit , and now cat shit ( so what ? if it works it works )

AND NO im not trying to kiss fdd ass

its just info is info

Every time someone does something and its not the way that they do it , then the other person is automatically wrong and then the insults start coming

If you never tried cat shit yourself then how do you know it wont work

No one ever tried cow and bat shit before until the day someone tried it out and found it beneficial ,

now people grow with cow and bat shit ,

im pretty sure you all know where im going with that

im not trying to start anything with anyone ,

im just saying theirs nothing wrong with sharing your grow experiences and letting people know what has worked and what has not

This thread was very informative for me , cuz it seems like i would benefit from doing that way on my outdoor plants then how i previously been doing it

but just cuz i would does not mean everyone else would

either try it out or dont

like i said , im not trying to start anything with anyone , ( HAPPY GROWING :peace: )

Dude, im not being an asshole, I think you have good info to share and would like to learn from you. You have amazing plants, I was just wondering if you would be kind enough to share some tips with a noob. I was not "jabbing" you in any way either, I just want to learn good growing advice.

Thanks

i have no specific mix. the dirt in that blue pot is from my neighbors backyard.

i was trying to stay focused on topping and trimming. chastise me for not jacking my own thread. the constant jabs at me are what make me so ornery. what does it do for you?

Well, really! First, in my thread, you said I bashed you! I never did! But, I'm very sorry, I call a spade a spade. That WAS horrible advice! You're gonna have all these new growers who don't know any better butchering thier plants. You may be able to perform this 'technique' without detriment to your plants, but it is doubtful that a first time grower won't kill thier plants with this method.
I'll have you know, my Grams is an extremely talented and experienced grower! She would never condone the methods you use. And, sir, I assure you, she is a very wise and learned woman! Our family has been farming for over 20 years, and not just pot, either. My Grams knows more than you can imagine about plant chemistry and also, bio-synchronistic plant-environment control.

i still don't get your point.

i haven't advised anyone to do anything. i can keep repeating myself, i won't even get mad, ... " i am simply sharing what i do".

Of course, I've seen a vineyard. More than one. I may not live in Cali anymore, but I did until I was 15. I don't know what that has to do with anything, though. To answer your question about my point, it's simple, really! Your words and actions impact others, especially new growers. As you must be well aware. Truly, I'm not purposely trying to be difficult, but I am bound by family honor to help and not harm. And further, to try to help the misguided see the error of thier ways.

A few inspiring words of wisdom.
The person who sends out positive thoughts activates the world around him positively and draws back to himself positive results.
Weakness of attitude becomes weakness of character.
If you want your life to be more rewarding, you have to change the way you think.
True wisdom is less presuming than folly. The wise man doubteth often, and changeth his mind; the fool is obstinate, and doubteth not; he knoweth all things but his own ignorance.

Being new to grow MM and wise beyond belief, I tried a few different things and I can say beyond a doubt that I used Fdd's method after seeing the huge plants he grew and the cool avatar (American woman).
It worked great, I didnt spill MG (I could not find the organic fert fdd used) all over the bottom leaves anymore. On other plants that I did not trim I noticed those tiny qtip sized buds were not worth the trouble when the top of your bush is producing 3 to 4 ozs.
