Merry Christmas guys :)

I've been struggling to find oscillating fans because it's winter here. I was using a single "high tower" oscillating ventilator but I think even the lowest setting is too strong for plants in seedlings stage. And since I'm running a sealed tent with high humidity I'll have to make sure there is a BIG FAT ZERO amount of dead air pockets.

I might have to order online from the US. I was thinking of putting two on the floor (or clip em to the poles), 2 for the bottom 2 for the top, so 4 oscillating fans total that make sure air is always recirculating.

Or I thought of also getting a small vortex fan I'd put on the floor that ensures air moves in the tent, and add separate 6" clip-on fans aimed on the canopy for the breeze they need to grow strong.

Any brands or fans advice?

I have a smallish one. Had to put it on a timer as it was drying out my young leafs. It doesn't have to recirculate, just aim it at a wall and adjust position until it gently shakes the plants

ay so i wanna start growing veggies and maybe some mj and i wanna use a aquaponics system, to create sustainable/organic bud and veggies. i also wanna make a led using about 30 650-660 nw 3 watt leds and about 10 450 nw 3 watt leds, i allready have the plans for the light, would you recommend and other NW's for better plant growth? i am asking on this thread because it looks like there is a lot of knowledgeable people on here. i was thinking i would use a bubble ponics system but not set on it.
thanks! lemme know what you think or if you know anyone on here that has exerence with the hole aquaponics and led grows.

4000-5000k White LED's are great for plants.

A lot of people and companies are using 6000-6500k Cool white LED's instead of using Blue LED's as well. Some studies are showing the blue LED's can stunt growth.

My Sentinel CHHC-4 and RO filter have arrived. Happy boxing day!

I've been planning my second grow area and might be able to pull off a 5x5x8 area this time. For shit and giggle I was looking at trying those inda-gro induction lights in this tent and see what happens. Running two sealed tents side by side, one with LED, one with induction, could make for a very interesting experiment :)

Due to a hiccup in shipping the second LED won't be arriving here, so I asked for a refund on that one. I'll be pairing the A51-90 with an Inda-Gro PAR200 induction light instead, which has been ordered and should be here next week.

Calibrated the nutrient monitor today, took about 15 minutes.

Also received GH air pump which is so much more quiet than the 70L/min hydrofarm I got. That was a waste of money.

Making your own 0 PPM water is so very very cool!

With this BRS 5 Stage RO Plus filter coupled with the booster pump kit I get 90 PSI extraction (30 PSI without the pump) so I waste less water and fill out my buckets much quicker. The plus version includes an inline TDS meter, which is awesome.

I filled 6x 1 gal. bottles in anticipation of my next drain for faster fill up. Took me 30 min to fill those bottles.

Now I can use RO water for all sorts of appliances, like my espresso machine.

I love new toys and gadgets.

I also noticed the light emitted from the cw nutrient monitor AND the sentinel chhc-4 are green... plant safe for night during flowering I suppose?

Be careful what you use RO water with because it can have a corrosive effect on metal parts.
