I subscribe to GreenGene's Garden & Garden Talk with Mr. Grow It on YouTube. but I think everyone listens to Dr. Bruce Bugbee of Utah State. HIs channel is Apogee Instruments.
Listened to one yesterday where he was the guest yesterday. He was head and shoulders above the host. Also learned why I ended up with beans during my first indoor grow. Turns out plants can see "green light" during the night cycle. :wall:

Thanks for the tip. @Offmymeds
You're welcome. I hadn't heard the green light information. They must have finished the light study on the amount of light that will disrupt the dark period. I put metal tape over every indicator light on any of the devices. I discovered by sitting in the room in the dark that my CO2 monitor emits flashes of light that can be seen through the air vents in the device. I forgot about that device issue. I'm going to correct that today. Thank you.

Happy growing.

Glad I searched rather than starting a new thread... I listen to a few canna-related podcasts, always looking for something new and interesting to add to the list (I usually listen while driving or running).

- The Pot Cast: Breeder interviews. I like this show, though the level of interestingness varies quite a bit guest-to-guest. Often enlightening in an "Emperor wears no clothes" kind of way. Fairly long show at around 2 hours. Like the host.

- Grow Cast: Some breeder interviews, often interviews with soil/nute/light/tech people. Semi mixed feelings about the host (a little overly enthusiastic/under-informed sometimes) but it's usually a good listen. Short though, only 30 minutes or thereabouts. One of the more polished podcasts.

- Catching Fire: Kinda all over the place in terms of topics, often medical focused in a very specific way. Brings in experts on various topics. Good show when it's something you're interested in. Polished.

- Curious About Cannabis: Nerdy, experts on scientific topics. Can be an interesting show depending on the topic.

- Cannabis Cultivation and Science: Have only caught a few episodes of this one. Interesting, info-heavy. About an hour.

- Growing with Fishes: Hydroponics focused, but all around a good listen. A little more amateurish a podcast than many of the others.

- The Adam Dunn Show: Sometimes interesting, more of a traditional two hour call-in/talk show with various guests coming in and out. Broadly about Cannabis, but not technical. I listen but I have mixed feelings about it.

And then I recently added "The Cannabis Conversation" but haven't had a chance to listen much yet. Short, about 30 minutes.

Surprised that you hadn't put "Great Moments in Weed History" on your list. It's super easy to listen to and the hosts are great! Thanks for the additional list of shows, I'll be adding more to my phone this morning!

Heh... you posted the same photo on Feb 2!

:bigjoint:

I'm afraid I'm a bit snobby about podcasts, and my other go-to podcast topic is history, and I'm old and nerded out on pot history stuff almost 30 years ago (damn I'm old). Also NPR ran a show about Billie Holiday and Anslinger a week or two ago (connected to the Lee Daniels movie no doubt), can't quite figure it out if it was a rerun from a year+ or a different, more recent show. For sure an interesting listen as I knew a fair amount about Anslinger but either didn't know about or forgot about his history with Holiday.

PS: Just to be clear, I was talking about being snobby in relation to "Great Moments in Pot History" not Dudegrows. Can't say I've tried that one but I'm game for most grow related shows (I am picky but I do somehow keep listening to the Adam Dunn show, I put up with podcasts I'm not thrilled with).

Hmm, looking at the episode descriptions I'm going to guess Dude Grows might be a little too focused on the basics for my purposes, but probably super helpful for people just starting off growing or whatnot.

Yeah Great Moments isn't about growing, but still worth a listen.
