Fat cloudy trichomes but only 5-10% orange hairs?

I have a blue dream female i've been flowering for a while but forgot to keep track of how long it's been flowering for so I am harvesting based on the cloudiness of the trichomes and color of the hairs. The trichomes are really milky and heavy in abundance but the hairs still look fresh and white not dried out and orange. I don't mind getting some amber trichomes but I don't see what good it would do since blue dream is sativa dominant and i'm aiming for the body high. Is blue dream supposed to have orange hairs on the finished product? I have a horrible camera on my phone btw you'll just see a blurry image of the green nugs with white hairs.

Trichrome maturity is more important than red/orange hairs, as some strain don't go as red as others

Yeah, show us some pics of the entire plant with some close-ups or else we are only guessing

Still lots of room for those buds to swell and fill up. Id say wait another week minimum looking more towards 2-3weeks. If you chop her now you're going to get some really sad bud so fight that urge. If by some chance she still has white hairs in 2 weeks look at the trichs on more than bud site and chop at 20%-35% amber. You could also harvest the top in a week and a half and let the bottoms finish for another week or two. Keep feeding her some nutrients and keep the PH in range all the way to the end though.

Sativa is best described as a energetic head high and indica's as a pain killing body high. So if what you want is a body high then you will want to have more amber.

Your plants are looking decent but you may want to reconsider the flushing practice.

I'm thinking your description of milky trichrome may not be accurate, as they are likely clear
Several more weeks to go

I hsve had strains that the tricomes were milky and the tricomes caps were just starting to pop and no new ones forming so I knew it was finished yet no red hairs. After curing the buds they were all red.they will change still after they are chopped. Just don't let all the tricomes burst and you will be fine.

By the looks of your bud-
It is still producing white hairs...

It does not matter the type of MJ you are growing, no plant is finished yet if you have new white hairs popping up...

So add one to two weeks for it to stop making white hairs... no New white hairs...

Then... Those white hairs will dry and recede back into bud...

Then start to check your Tric's... Any checking before your hairs recede is a waste of time...

Now, I love wasting time on my plants... just realize you have "WEEKS" to add gurth to those buds...
