That's what I figured.. and I think I have done it, I smoke alot and haven't grown in awhile

Genetics of autoflowers are so much better now and most will benefit from topping and defoliation as long as applied at the right time!

Homemade organic grow fertiliser. 1kg comfrey and nettle chopped up then add 1kg raw cane sugar , scrunched all together and left to ferment for a couple of weeks then strain. Already mad my bloom from banana, papaya and squash.

Nice!! I’ve read about the benefits of comfrey before - hope it works for u!

Also nettles contain silica and the growth hormones are similar to seaweed

Got loads of em round the back of my garden. Was looking into making a tea with them too.

Seems to me the more photoperiod leaning seeds are what respond to training better.

Some you train and they just bolt to flower regardless - must be the ruderalis trait showing through.

Seems to me that their strains with gsc in tends to respond well to the training and veg that bit longer!

Do you consider that optimal? One of the old timers on AFN told me with COB lighting I should run my tent at 80º. Of course, I nearly killed my plants this last run, I did so many things wrong I'm not even sure what impact the temps may have had... LOL. Next indoor will start in October, and I'll be changing everything from the ground up.

I have never really had any problems running 72- 80 I have even gone mid 90s in summer with no issues. I think any lower than 72 lights on and they will slow down a bit,

Autos can be finicky, I'm still trying to figure out what the critical elements of growing them are and where there are a range of options. Thanks for the reply.
