fast veg, flower

Can I grow a plant let it veg for 2 weeks and flowre for 2 weeks then harvest. Will u get decent bud in small amount or will u get no bud or will u get bud but not good since they didn't grow rite. Just some idea. And if not wuts the least time I can flower to get good bud doesbt matter the quantity. Thanks

depends on the strain as well. What you growing? Indica's usually have a quicker flowering time that Saltiva's. Usually about 50-70 day's or so. Saltiva's can take abit longer. If you are looking for a quick turnaround, my suggestion look into the auto-flowering strains, but still 2 weeks will get you no where. Look at some of the seedbank sites, they usually list the flowering period times. That will give you a good estimate at what you are looking at. It also does depend on what medium you are using for growing and lights etc.

Clones can be put into flower as soon as they have rooted. Plants from seed require maturity (usually about 5 nodes) before flowering. Some people go right from seed to 12/12 flowering with certain strains. The potency of the bud will definately be affected by all these factors. I grow an Indica strain and it takes 8-9 weeks to complete the flowering phase. All the magic happens toward the end of the cycle. The last 3 weeks are critical. If you can't allow them to mature and finish the cycle there is really no point in bothering to start.
