How old in that pic ?? Yeah I get what ya mean m8 , she's well spread though from it so it definatly benefited her

Think that was around 2 1/2 maybe 3 weeks in, yeah that's exactly what I wanted to do spread her out a bit didn't want it all clustered together. Yeah she defo benefited from it, it also stopped the side colas from stretching too high. Didn't want side colas to be higher than the main one lol.

That looks good for 2-3 weeks , I wish I started training mine a little earlier just got nervous with it being an auto lol luckily though fast Buds do give you a little insight into the plants likes/dislikes which didn't really know for this one but gonna take advantage of for the next

Pot was dry so she's just had another feed
1ml grow
2.5ml bloom
2.5ml top-max
2.5ml big bud
2L rain water
Wouldn't normally have to water for another day or two so she's drinking a bit more now , removed my scrog as just made watering her awkward lol also removed all ties as they weren't needed anymore , gonna focus energy on spreading her out a little more now I think

Looking good, has she got a smell coming from her yet? or is she a stealthy plant lol. I germinated the northern lights this morning

She smells fucking ace m8 , but luckily only when rubbed , no real smell coming from cupboard .. I'm not the best judge because I think I'm immune to the smell but got my misses to rub a leaf and she swears it smells like fruit juice lol definitely not a strain that's gonna stink the house out though ( so far anyway lol )

Which method you used to germ paper towel ? ... I ordered fast buds G-14 last night need the other half to hide my seeds else I'm gonna end up popping them all lol

Week 5 (day 35)
Well despite being fed last night I've just given her another 2L mix (was advised I'd left my mixs sat for to long so rather then waste I thought I'd just give her it seeing as I only water 2L at a time in 5 gal pots so between last night and just now that wouldmean she's had this ..

That's exactly what happened with my syrup only smell when rubbed, but towards the end she became a real stinker luckly only when I open tent to feed her apart from that my 4" rhino filter was doing the business.

Yeah kitchen towel method, but I germinated another syrup with it as I been doing a lot of reading on northern lights x big bud and it don't sound like what I'm after. I want a proper stoner of a plant, aint made up me mind yet... might just do both in smaller pots lol. I have got a couple of nuggets sitting on top of my t.v right now as I run out of smoke lastnight, my house smells nice lol.

Yes you are right you do get immune to the smell till someone else walks in and asks you where bob marley is lol

Haha I do the friend check , whenever me m8 comes round I'll make him run up and down the stairs then ask if he smelt owt lol it's alright telling myself it doesn't smell but don't wanna go nose blind and like you say have some 1 sniff it as soon as they walk in lol my G14 turned up today along with a couple free kush fems n regs , sorta wishing I picked a different 1 now but never mind :/ how's ya fast dry looking so far ?

lol I also do that with a certain friend of mine I use him as a sniffer dog lol, I go one step further tho after he's fucked off I get me brother round incase my mates nose was blocked up lol. Got to cover all your angles.

Wont be long till your germinating those little babys, Your like me mate lol I order seeds n when they turn up wished I bought something else. Least I'm not the only one, just had a quick look at G14 looks alright mate. Had the buds on top of my t.v it gets warm there, they are crispy as fuck mate lol only had them there from 8am-12 today cant wait till 6pm to light 1 up in my garden. Had to get the Ona bucket out tho as me house stunk big time lol. That Ona is a god send, only had the fan on bucket for like 30 mins now my house smells like a laundrette. My friends just turned up saying the same thing he cant smell any weed either just the Ona. I had some fresh linen Ona left over from last harvest.

Not heard them ona buckets , something I'm gonna have to look into I think , always better to be safe then sorry lol too many choices with seeds always gonna have that second thought , tbh fast buds have some right choices I'm probably gonna end up with most lol og west coast, gorilla glue, crystal meth, Pineapple Express and c-4matic are all in my wish list , along with lsd-25 but that's just for the purple/black buds lol ... Wish it was summer I'd have a garden full but for now 1 at a time will do will have let me know how it smokes , obvs be better when not rushed but the high should pretty much be the same .

What's put you off the northern lights then , seemed quite excited about that 1 ?

My mouth was watering just reading them strains, I cant grow in my garden because my kids have reached those teenage years (13-14) but when they eventually fly the nest I will have a few out there lol. Yeah someone told me today that the high shouldn't be different but he said it might taste a bit shit as I have fast dried it, that's cool with me tho long as it knocks me out I don't care what it tastes like.

Well.. the more I'm looking into it the more I don't want to do it, I have been looking at smoke reports that people have written up about and none of them say its a heavy stone they all saying its a nice body high.. not looking for a body high I'm looking for something that's gonna knock a camel out lol. still torn between the northern or just doing another syrup

Haha now you see why I'm struggle to pick as they all look and sound ace , I sort of ordered what appeared to be the easiest and most resilient didn't really take into consideration by the time I get to them I'd be a little more experienced but I've decided I'm gonna start collecting seeds anyway and just pick n choose what I wanna play with .. ohhh you've got teens lol no wonder you work so hard to keep it on the low , wouldn't take much for them to figure it out otherwise , all a little younger in my house so I'm blessed with them still being innocent and naive enough to allow a little room for error , not that I do lol I'd grow it out and decide for yourself tbh m8 , let it go as amber as possible and should be a little heavier then stated .. the only time I prefer a lighter smoke is if I'm out grafting other then that like you say I want knocking the fuck out haha

Yeah I might do the same ya know just order a couple of different auto strains, aint wasting money really is it as they will be grown sooner or later. Keeping it on low was easy 6 years ago but now they getting a little smarter got to be a bit more discrete about things lol. Its all good tho, you know what? you just sold it for me right there saying to let it go more amber. That's exactly what I'm gonna do . Let it go about 50% amber should do the trick, looks like I will be throwing that syrup seed I started away now. Not the end of the world.

Here.. I just smoked a quick dry bit in the garden. I'm pleased to say that im stoned! couldn't smell anything coming from the joint, or couldn't taste anything but the high was there. Looking forward to Monday that will be a solid 7 days drying so the taste and smell will defo come out then as it has to go through its changes. Someone pinched my VW Golf badge earlier from the front of my car and I wanted to kill someone.. after smoking that joint in me garden I couldn't give a fuck about it now lol.

Well my theory is buy myself 1 a week for a cheeky £10 , by the time one grows I've got 10 new seeds to choose from lol and like you say each seed will eventually pay for itself and many more with the money you'd save buying smoke lol

You do lose a lot of goodness when you fast dry but for the sake of going without out or buying some it does the job . I love that feeling when ya raging and have a joint , doesn't matter how hard you try after you just can't stay mad haha

I'll be expecting a Christmas card come Monday with a taster in it then yeah ?

Great idea about the seeds, I'm gonna buy a couple straight after Christmas. It done the job last night and saved me a couple of quid, I will send ya a Christmas card with a little prezzie inside lol.

That box looks good to start off seedlings, I use a weak t5 bulb its a shaving light for ya bathroom lol. I like using this as I don't get a mad stretch like you sometimes get with seedlings. I'm gonna use an old crisp box or something with me t5 bulb in there to start mine off in a few days.
