Farmer's market-

This ole man's 2 cents:

I'm a patient with authorization to grow and I do have patient cards for 5 patients that I carry to each farmers market. They each get an oz. a month for no charge and are my test subjects for medibles from the market.

I personally know and deal with other people at the market....and yes I believe some are bringing in meds from other states and aren't really growing themselves, but there are those that grow themselves. I've been to their grows and have seen them in person.

All this bashing and negative BS boggles my mind. All the political BS in this state amazes me.
Like I said mate...

Not many! Glad to see you are the exception to the rule.

There is no "bashing or negative BS" simply facts. Sorry but I will not allow my rights to be taken or diminished because some ass want to peddle some herb from cali to make a buck. Most can agreed that the cali herbs need to stay in cali and Arizona needs to stand up and become independent now that we have the AMMA. There were certain restriction put in place to prevent such measure but once our lawsuit goes through Az maybe the new Mecca of Fine marijuana.

Sorry you feel that way but we are all entitled to our opinions and I respect yours.
Do you feel out of place being one of few that are actually growing the medicine you are providing? (Since you know most of the folks are not growing)

PS
To be frank... Recreation + medical = recreational
This is the next problem that will arise soon! And all this fighting for our rights maybe taken by the recreational measures.

Just to be clear, for the newbies, very few people on this forum will tell you NOT to go to Farmers markets even though they are technically going to be illegal very soon because most of the people here SELL at those markets. Not that there is anything wrong with that but it is important to point out things being sold at these markets are VERY unregulated and you never know what you're getting. Someone recently bought tinctures that had chips of glass in it.

Be careful out there. Dispensaries are tightly regulated for a reason.

Is there a new law that's been passed or are you just talking smack?

They may already be illegal under the state gambling laws
In some limited situations a prosecutor may try to charge sales as well. If it ever goes bad Belinda will be rolling over on everyone for a deal.

Dispensaries are not regulated...that's why they will be required to get a new business license with new laws to follow issued by the liquor control board....they will be regulated or they might even become obsolete

They need much more as has been noted and is coming soon according to Hubble.
Certainly most of them should of been closed down by now for violations.

NV has better laws than AZ. You guys can grow if the dispensaries dont carry the strain you need.

That is a great story, I also heard about the person who found a syringe in their can of dr. pepper..

I call BS on that statement though but I've also heard some nasty things about people that have visited dispensaries. Like being given non medicated edibles on "accident". Or the often used bait and switch with the pre-packaged sealed bags which are often lesser quality and tiny nugs than what you just picked out from the budtender..

I think some regulation is fine but the way it is being handled in this state has been horrible and is more of a mechanism to delay and frustrate patients while creating a monopoly than to regulate an industry. I JUST moved back to AZ after moving away 15 years ago but after living in two other medical states I'd have to say AZ is the worst of all by far in terms of quality/cost at dispensaries and the process/cost in getting a card.

Another thing is that when you see dispensary owners actually argue against legalization it really makes you wonder what the hell their motives are. This state really isn't a truly medical state though in my head but the fact that concentrates are not allowed is insane. The most effective way to medicate (for me) is to take dabs and not smoke flower which for some reason this state sees as illegal still?!?!? Much easier on my lungs and it gets me medicated to where I don't have to smoke much.

The Farmers Market's have been a blessing to those who aren't working for dispensaries or for those who don't want to spend 40% more at dispensaries. Plus you have all the options at the market.

Anyone know when Hubble is officially getting rid of the "as the crow flies rule" as he has stated he will.
Do we have to wait until late next year for this when all the new rules come out?

We'll be a legal state by the time that happens. But even if we're legal, we'll likely still be forced to buy from disp. or face jail. Legalization does not matter to me as much is getting rid of the 25 mile rule does. I don't care if Joe Blow neighbor guy can go to a dispensary and buy an ounce without a med card. What matters to me is quality herb that I have access to and is affordable. I'll admit I have found decent herb at some dispensaries, but them prices!!

It has already been announced the as the crow flies will be changed to map quest or something similar
for calculating the 25 miles. As for legalizing I don't think it will pass maybe in 5 or 10 years it will have a chance. Hell the medical mmj barely passed.

I know I get it. I was mocking the system for how long things can take. Oh and 62% of Californians approve legalization and will be on their ballot next November. Don't think for a minute this is going to take 5-10 yrs. It's also likely to be our ballots too.

Actually AZ is one of the top states where the Pro Marijuana Lobby feels they have a good chance of passing full legalization. Hopefully it will be passed much like it is already is in Colorado where home cultivation is protected as well. I read yesterday that Oregon is putting it back on the ballot in 2016 in such a way that will make it legal to grow 24 plants and have up to 24 ounces. Very fair in my opinion.
