Do not blow it directly on your plants, but rather let the moving air bounce off a nearby wall or something solid. Wind increases transpiration rate which plants with developing roots may not be able to handle appropriately and become overly dry, hence you want a breeze hitting them rather than directly. The moving air serves a purpose of allowing a better air exchange and prevents mold during flowering, strengthening of the stalk caused by the wind is rather miniscule if not a myth.
