So I am upgrading my room it is a 4'x4'x8' area completely sealed. It is wrapped with panda film. I was using inline duct fans but they really arent good I have found out. Also had a 250w hps. Anyway,now, I have a sunsystem yield master 2 air cooled hood, 1000w hps. Ballast will be outside of room. I have 2 273 cfm dayton blowers. 1 for the intake 1 for outtake. Now my question, I am using passive intake on the hood with a 6" centrifugal fan 435 cfm sucking the air across the bulb. I want to mount the fan in the attic. What connections do I need to run the ducting through the ceiling to the fan? How do I mount the fan to rafters? Do I use flanges?
