Fan Driver.

I'm building three fixtures, (5,5,2, fans).

I want the fans to run on 9v or 12v.
Would this one be a good pick, for the five fan fixture?

If anyone have a recommendation for a driver, for the two fan, and five fan fixture, that would be great!

After a long time, i finally feel confident i can build my own DIY LED, And i got almost everything i need now, I just have to decide on:
* What fan drivers to get?
*What is thermal adhesive to get?
*What soldering wire to get?(does it matter?)

And then i will be ready for my first build, and first grow ever! :bigjoint:

That driver will work fine for 5 fans (and 2). Those fans are .16a each and the driver is 1.5a so you could get a max of ~9 fans on one driver. Arctic silver 5 has always worked for me, doesn't matter all that much. Make sure you only get "adhesive" if you want that, most people just use a thermal paste and attached the cob with a holder (cree) or the built in holes (vero).

Arctic ceramique is slightly better than silver 5. I have used both over years. Silver 5 is a very good thermal compound.

Always had better temps with ceramique. Just my opinion though. Silver 5 is easier to get a hold of as it is so widely used.

I need to get the adhesive, i don't have holders.
Are you sure the fan is .16A? That would be nice, then i could get a 1A driver, I thought it was .24A.
