Family Reunion Picnic andKitchen Council,
Sat. June 15, 2013, GallupPark Ann Arbor, MI (see map below)

Important Council at this picnic! All are welcome in council, even if this is your first gathering ever. Consensus will decide if kitchen will go to big Annual Gathering in Montana, or remain local or otherwise.
Reunite with Rainbow Family and find rides and riders to gatherings. This picnic/council is taking place at Gallup park in Ann Arbor (see map below), starting sometime often in the late afternoon. Drive the main park road, over the one lane bridge, southeast, all the way to the back of the park. We are often near the big tree in the middle of the field, or sometimes by the river, but we will be there, making music, playing frisbee, circling in peace, healing and freedom. See the map below for directions, and IGNORE ALL RUMORS OF CANCELLATION regardless of weather. Family will be on the land rain or shine! Bring a dish to pass and all good things. No alcohol please. WE LOVE YOU! Click map below to get directions.

If you are up for an additional adventure, Family in canoes/kayaks and other boats leave at noon from Argo Pond to Canoe Home to Gallup Park! CLICK HERE TO SEE CANOEING MAP and find out how you can rent a canoe and more! Lovin You!

Didn't make it out there, but the consensus has been made to take the kitchen out to Montana. Wish I could go, the west is lovely, but I can't handle those road trips anymore.

I remember my first campout in Montana. I was totally oblivious and unprepared for the idea that you could freeze in July. :fire:

[h=1]hmmm....lots going on-:blsmoke:

No Organized Activity in the Arb – Sat. July 20, 2013, late afternoon[/h]
320px-NicholsArb.JPG
Ignore all rumors of cancellation, and all rumors of organization! As university policy expressly forbids any organized activities in the Nichols Arboretum, we here again sternly warn that there will not be any organized activity in this most magical arboretum in the late afternoon on the last day of the Ann Arbor Art Fairs. If, to escape the crowds, you decide to wander in the center of the Arb on that late Saturday afternoon, and you happen upon some happy hippies in heartsong, friendly family fostering free food, frisbees, frolicking, or fun…you can rest assured that it is no one’s fault. If you get there and no one is there, either you have the wrong spot, or its not rainbow time yet. Rain location and afterdark afterparty at the Pool Of Wonder, where there will be overnight camping available, and we will be getting the Turtle Soup trailer prepped for its next adventure…more directions to follow.. Click here for Arboretum parking and picnicking locations and directions.

The Rainbow Family gathering in southwest Montana is, for this week, one of the largest communities in the Treasure State.
The U.S. Forest Service estimates that about 9,700 people have congregated at the site located 10 miles southwest of Jackson in the Beaverhead-Deer Lodge National Forest.
That figure makes the gathering - at least temporarily - the 8th-largest community in Montana, roughly on a par with the population of Havre.
The agency says that the nearly 2,000 vehicles in the area are also affecting roads and kicking up dust.
The number of pedestrians has also greatly increased, so officials are urging patience by drivers.
Beaverhead County officials say the gathering has already put a strain on some services, including law enforcement and healthcare facilities.
All the Rainbow members remained silent for midnight until noon on Thursday as part of their meditation on world peace.
They broke their silence with a celebration and a communal meal.

The Rainbow gathering is scheduled to last through Sunday.

Did you just get back Buck?

shortest gathering i have evr been to-

was over by the 12th-
10,000+out in the mtns....amazing site

triple rainbows appeared the day after the circle of 6-7000

one double bow...one triple....and a single rainbow went from one end of the valley we were gathered in
from end to end-

went to a friends 700acre ranch that was incredible
saw bald eagles and elk and antelope
and ufos at night....

drove thru chicago yesterday at straight up rush hour with no air and no brake lights-
-felt like a roast in the oven with stop and go gridlock traffic

lookin forward to some local underground flavor-

i see nothings changed here except for the worst......brownies 'illegal'.......pffffft-

their setting things up for the dispensaries to take over and get all the privledges

yeah montana has a 'fake' law too-

the 'patients' have learned their lesson and are not signng up anymore
...too dangerous and they have busted people off the registry there--mostly cgs with multiple pts wtf?

you should have heard the stories other folks had from some of the 'legal' states--colorado,oregon,washington

nightmares and they were not happy
most said they felt betrayed by the fake laws

visited some local growers i know there
....their all back off the radar
tahoe Og all day-mmmmmm!

good thing about montana is its so big there --amazing outdoor!
big sky for sure-

picked yucca, yarrow, arnica and white sage....bags full

rainbow is amazing experience....good folks
and pot is 'legal' there:blsmoke: always has been in the 'nation'

peace from the underground-

come out of the 'slums' dogg and get back in the forest with the real ones-

Good stuff man. Montana/Alaska are the only states left on my have to see list. I had a
friend living in Butte? that I lost touch with. He loved the place. Glacier national park by it's self
will give me the motivation to get up there.

I was pretty supervised MT was back peddling on MJ. Someone was saying they have made
more arrests after med laws, then before. I am sure it is more Libertarian then most places still,
it doesn't seem like a hard place to hide out either.

I am pheno hunting with about 10 different Tahoe crosses at the moment, I share your opinion
on her. I not a fan, I am a groupie! I have yet to meet a more complete package then true/tahoe. I
will let you know my studies have concluded.

I hear ya brother, my wonder lust is strong at the moment. I have a few more years left in the trenches
before I can sell the house, sell the kids, sell the car and go.

Montana is a great libertarian state....lots of guns/militia there and people there dont necessarily agree with the 'federal' govt-
close to Idaho and 'the boot'

still mostly fascist repubs (redneck big$ranchersanti-mmj) running the show there tho-

i believe the feds realized if they didnt send a strong msg there it would have made california look silly with all that big sky and the amount of farms sprouting up all over-
now they justpushed them all underground there and i can tell you i talked with dozens of natives at the gathering that were all on their game

just like here and everywhere else mmj laws are.....everybody and their grandpa[literally]is trying to growmedicine/$$
its all over there even more tho-
150$oz for killl

most folks there want to know what happened to the 'United States of Amerca' govt...???
--i feel the same

yes big sky is millions of square miles to hide in--
the hippies there are finding that out and enjoying their freedom

most have realized the fallacy of the card/registry-

and yes they used the registry to bust people
arrestts are up after the mmj[fake]law-

same as here and other states where you have people thinking they are protected from prosecution with a little plastic 100$ card....
yuk-yuk

cant ever go wrong with a good Tahoe OG-
winner every time!

incredible smoke:eyesmoke: love it!!
--i didnt even mention the gnarly old skool 'purple kush' or the 'matanuska' either........wow!

yeah you got the picture.....i have been inside a painting the last few weeks-
slap upside the head comin back here-

Damn slumdog, those pics are amazing! Reminds me of back home. I grew up in western Canada in and around the Canadian Rocky mtns. I am awe struck every time I go back. I want to build a cabin in the mountains and retire there some day.....

when you get back. Western Canada has it figured out if you ask me.
