False positive from lack of k

So I'm wondering, if low levels of k affect color within a plant ie leaves and stem would this also affect trichromes causing them to purple as well? I'm hoping I didn't pull too early.

almost 100 people have viewed this and nobody has an answer? Did I word this question oddly ? Does anyone actually know anything about plants here?

bj, it was more of a hypothetical question than a problem. As far as the attitude you would have still been lurking in the shadow if I hadn't stirred the pot. You took the bait in just over 5 min and you're still thrashing about.I can't seem to get an answer out of you. But if pictures will help where you imagination has failed, let me see what I can do.

a plant that i recently harvested had the leaves turn yellow and purple due to a K deficiency (i believe that was one of the issues that the forums helped me determine) But the trichs never changed purple only leaves and calyxes turned purple trichs stayed cloudy for the most part

Hate to say it but it appears you are right. A quick search on google did reveal some purple-ish trichs.
