Fabric Grow Bed, Inoculation

I got an old 2x2 fabric bed with dried up soil, the plants were harvested off the stalk of the plant and left for dry.

Its been close to 2 years since the bed has been used and the stock was able to snap off easily, thoughts about have any problems reinoculating the soil / contamination?

The fabric bed has been stored in unused tent from an old friend and figuring out how to best use it.

Thoughts were to add some cover crops, and gro-kashi, microbes and top dress it with build a soil craft blend, kelp, EWC and coconut anything else I could add to bring back more life or steps needed to take?

I'll start off by saying that I know damn near nothing about organics. With that said, I would assume by throwing shit on the top of the bed it wouldn't make the soil viable for a while.

I would throw it all on a tarp and re-amend it that way, and even then you should let it sit a week or two.

You might consider getting a soil test before re-amending things so you can target what you need and not cause an excess of what you don't. Also with the soil sitting & aging it may have broken down and some things may be more readily available for the plants to take up than they were before.

How much do basic sol tests go for?

I’m going to take advantage! I need to restock my coconut powder, build a flower, and aloe Vera powder.
Damn you guys. I knew I shouldn't have said anything until I ordered, lol. You guys bought out the vermicompost and Rootwise Elixer,. It's all good, I still got it for the deal, but had to find it on another link and I gotta wait another couple weeks. But it's all good. My order's in for now. Next time I'll have a $100 off coupon since I've got the points now.

re: soil tests there's teh Soil Savvy tests which have been popular and discussed on this site quite a bit and can be bought directly or from Amazon between 20 and 30 bucks. Then there's other commonly cited vendors for tests. Search this site for soil tests and you'll find all types of discussions around them.
