F1 bean question

First off sorry if this is posted in the wrong section.
I have found and extracted a single seed off a feminised MK Ultra & a male Blue Cheese. Unexpected...most have been a stray bit of pollen as this was unintended. Anyways I reckon MKCheese would be a decent coupling so i want to grow it out. The question is how long, if at all, should i wait before germinating thr seed? I did read somewhere that you should wait a few weeks in order to increase the likelyhood of germination. I only took the seed out of the bract yesterday. Its mature. Not a green horroble little dud.

Thanks for any advice given.

Yeah rice or silca gel, but 2-4 weeks in a warm place should do you well, but after all that work and care it should turn out to be a herm....?

Interesting, i assume you would use rice to absorb moisture while it sits so that it does not unintentionally germinate?
Yes. You want the seeds to dry out before trying to germinate them. Some wait 3 weeks to 2 months. But I remember popping some before that.

Thanks very much chaps. The wait is on. I hope it don't go ladyboy on me. Some of the other Blue Cheee I had along with the male did that. Is BC prone to hermie then? (while im asking the experts). Growing is a patient mans game.

Very true your last statement. In my case, I don't want to ruin my grow so I just go for the basics. No supercropping, not much baby-ing.
Just plain old outdoor garden growing for me and they seem to be doing fine.
