Kept lights within two inches of plant and added bulbs when there was folliage 4-6 inches away from a bulb. Surrounded plant and used reflection to maximize light.
Used a 2-1-3 fertilizer every time I watered to keep nutrients available to plant.
Kept heat down by blowing fan across top of plant between it and bulbs. Exhaust fan kept temps down over all.

Topping reduces vertical height. Keeping lights close, heat down, providing proper nutrients and water minimize stretch.

Day 52 - 12/12 Day 11
Decided to trim off the "suckers" on the bottom. Took anything off with a thin flimsy stem or too low to produce.
Watered with gallon and 1tsp grow.

Hey pie whats up
been to busy to post but your topped cfl grow really caught my attention.
went back to work and was to busy to finish my liberty haze grow on here.
ended up with 5.5 ounces dried from 2 plants grown just like you are.
make sure to keep the inside low down semi cleared out by day 50 the very inside was light green and not growing.
downfalls of cfl but oh well. Keep up the good work.

Hey thanks for peeking! I am really pleased with the FCJ. Minimal smell is only present up close at 2 weeks. That means I can conserve my carbon filter longer. Right on!
Gonna start germing some Goji OG tonight. Stay tuned!

Soaked two Goji OG in a shotglass for a few hours and now they are in a ziplock bag between wet paper towels.
I'll check it tomorrow night.
I cleaned out the area for the seeds today.

Tommorow I am going to raise the dosage of nutes on my plant.
It is at 1tsp per gallon.. Should I go 1 1/2tsp or just bump all the way to 2 tsp?

Looks like it has about doubled in size.. I have been using 1tsp every three days for 2 weeks now. I think it should be safe to double it.. What do you guys think?

Just checked the plant. It is 19 inches tall now. The plant appears to be asking for more nutes because the very top fan leave petioles are starting to turn red. I will use 2 tsp tomorrow to a gallon and half.
Edit: I would also like to point out that I am still using Maxigrow which is a 2-1-3 formula with micronutes. I will not switch over to bloom unless the plant shows a phosphorus deficiency.
