F**king Mice ....

Well first off hi ya RIU , well it starts off like this ... went to visit my lady this last week and was gone for the week. Good thing i have my dad to water my lil friend ect. Anyways i got home yesterday and i went outside to see the progress of my friend. I noticed some of the soil was all around my pot ... i thought maybe it rained and a bit had washed out . Well no rain and my dad was wondering the same thing about the dirt. We thought it could have been the birds doing a dirt bath in the pot since i have 2 swallows nest on my blacony as well . Well i woke up this A.M and grabbed the flashlight to see my friend and what do i SEE !!! a lil fucking mouse coming out of one of my drainage holes in my pot !!!!! lil SOB dug a tunnel in my pot !!! Now im worried roots have been cut ect. Any advice if i should transplant it ? These pic are about 2 weeks old

some eaten roots wont do harm, but if your mickey mousy ate too much roots than your plant will start show signs.

you must have some big drainage holes?

those plants are big enough they should handle a little root damage if there is any.... but wow, a mouse in your plant!! crazy, just when ya think ya heard it all

Well the one hole it got in is about 1 inch diameter , and if a mouse can fit its head in any hole its body will follow .

Just put a mouse trap by the exit hole.

mice wont chew through anything thick. even thin cardboard. theres mice in our apartment because we live beside a field. i have been studying ways to get rid of them. newayz they will eat through styrofoam because its soft and easy to get through and also thin blastic like bags. im not sure if you can put your plants in boxs and manage them that way but mice piss me off. they can climb and jump to so if they want your plant bad enough they'll find a way to get it. the only way to keep them away from it would be to put the plant somewhere they cant get to. in a box or in a cabinet or somethin. i dunno how bad the mice are where your at but from what i found theres usually more then one. i put up a mouse trap expecting to catch one mouse and ended up catching 2 at the same time in the same trap. i think if you found one mouse theres probably more nearby.

Ya im gonna head to TSC ( tractor supply Center ) to get me a few things to help keep these guys out

dont kill mices, those arent rats. im sure you can just move your plant...

Mice are filthy lil beast !!! Carry all kinds of bad things like the Plauge lol . Watch Vermanators on Discovery Channel , you will see they can get anywhere . So moving it is not gonna solve the issue atm so ill hit the TSC to find some items to help )

had a mouse problem in my house in the winter because I live out in the country. little jerks kept pulling leaves of the bottoms of my plants. I set traps on the top of my dirts next to the plants. Got two the first night and one the next, haven't had anymore in months.

Obviously the mouse is a pot head. Roll a joint of your best weed and juice it up with some really good keif ... then put the joint in the mouse trap. That should take care of the little fucka. The best part of this sneaky little plan is ... if the mouse doesn't smoke the joint before the trap goes off, you'll still have the joint.

a mouse in a plant pot, gotta b a joke,has it put in a claim for flood damage when u water it.

get a cat , mine is a good one for mice or rats ,killed three mice and one rat in less than two weeks ,and that is only the ones it brings to show me like a present,?? ,but nothing gets in my grow room ,apart from the odd bugs.
but i live next to the bush so heaps of critters to keep the cat amused , and the bigger ones like skippys etc my bull mastiff keeps them away from my fence line.

Remeber field mice live underground , im from the south so we got alot of these critters everywhere. He must have sniffed around and found my drain holes and started digging !!! I woke up that morning , grabbed my flashlight to see if the swallows outside was getting in the soil . I turn the light on and see a mouse bolt back into the bottom of my plant pot . i was like WTF , got my light and grabbed the pot he ran out the hole and i looked in the bottom and that fucker dug a escape tunnel lol .

are you growing a cheese strain ? perhaps thats yer problem
