EZ Clone 60 EPIC FAIL

Well I put my EZ Clone 60 on Ebay tonight at a ridiculously discounted price because i just cant seem to get the hang of it. I have successfully cloned about 9 of 150 cuttings where as in the jiffy plugs I have had a success rate of 24 out of 25. I guess it's just not for me. NOW to TRY and get this SOG going after about 14 months of hardcore learning trial and error. Ha ha.

I use a EZ Clone and the trick is to cover the holes that are not being used, add a air stone and keep ph around 5.2-5.8. I get 100% results now. Sometimes it takes 2 weeks with some strains, but they all root! I used to get some sad ass results too but I figured out roots dont like light and the extra air speeds the rooting like DWC does! When the water feels a little warm to the touch put a frozen bottle of water at the far end to cool thing down. Give it another shot it will work great for you with a little tweaking. I only use the spring water to start then I use ph adjusted tap with chlorine remover in it just like the rest of my plants get! I turn the air adjustment up for circulation and let the air stone give air to the roots. Good Luck. Peace Out!

thanks for the advice man, i have tweaked and tried and for the effort it's much easier for me to do the plugs. plus i can "plug" them right into the rockwool in my veg units and they take off from there. i have never been good at aero cloning. maybe it's my water or something but the jiffys are my choice after trying all other options over the course of about a year. ha ha

i found your EZ Clone i think, what did you put the reserve at?

i dont think we're allowed to advertise stuff like that right on here. but it's like 10 bucks cheaper than any of the others. i'm not trying to sell it via RIU though or plug it in any way. just posting my experiences. the last year had been damn frustrating with all of the setbacks (cloning being the most time consuming and expensive)

by the way I have done a side by side comparison with clonex and root tone in the jiffy plugs and had 100 and 90 percent success rates respectively with cuttings taken from both tops and bottoms for both products.
