Either get some Romex wire and run an additional outlet (preferred) or get a surge protector with multiple outlets.

Edit...be careful with extension cords they can get very hot and cause fire

I was hoping i could use a kettle lead or something just cut the kettle lead off and wire it to the extractor then plug it in will that work?

sorted it, i just nicked a plug and wire from an extension lead and wired it with a 3a fuse up and running now

also i've got my cousin coming next weekend to wire in an additional socket so i can avoid using the extension lead cheers for the heads up

Better choice. Plus rep for not rigging it
