Yeah that's a really neat picture. Definitely don't have that where I am, but it looks it would be a fucking mission to walk in all that snow.

But I got nothing growing in my backyard so it doesn't really matter.

Thanks guys, this is my first winter here and I'm loving it so far. The snow is currently only about 16" deep, but it is frozen so hard that my boots only go down 4" or so. Even though we're in the single digits, it feels very comfortable when the wind isn't blowing. We get 50mph winds that last for days (valley winds that travel over miles of glaciers) and strip your body of heat if you don't layer your clothes right. Last week we had wind chills at -30F with gusts blowing sand and ice. That sucked...
