Funny how he doesn't even mention the CBN issue and the amber trichome misunderstanding.
He even links a wrong image (the maturity image) in his otherwise very well written article.

The picture simply indicates the immature bud with clear trich's as that is what i am on about, not intended to portray mature with amber and the position is simply formatting and second graphic "when to harvest cannabis" from 420mag.com shows clear to amber stages so considered that as being enough.

CBN isn't a primary psychoative component however much it is a primary oxidase of THC and is indicated when i state "Oxidase stabilisers" because while CBN has little psychoactive effect, it does stabilise the active compounds.

As mentioned, there are layers i could expand on greatly, but then it wouldn't be an article, but a rather long book, i didn't want to write a book, but give people a better insight. Once people have better insight and are interested, they can join dots themselves.

Thanks for the compliment of 'very well written' k0ijn.

Peace. :)

I get where you're coming from but I still shiver a bit about the checkmark & cross maturity picture.
The picture indicates a bit more than that of a clear trichome. Even though that was all you wished to convey.
It has been modified since it was first posted to reflect a more correct and scientific approach to trichome 'colours'.

I hardly feel that using a more precise picture would mean turning your article into a book, neither would a more thorough explanation of CBN, which isn't mentioned once in your article (I realize you attribute the phrase "oxidase stabilizers" to CBN, however this is not really a common term nor anything most people would instantly recognize as CBN).
The misunderstanding about CBN is a huge factor today, a lot of people have no clue how to read their plant and the misinformation perpetuated every day is detrimental to people learning.

This is the changed image I'm talking about:
