ok heres the deal i have a batch of plants that i just cut and during trimming i noticed seeds on only the lowest branches of the plants,, ive popped the seeds and got maybe 20 seeds per 3 harvested plants..
my question its obviously self pollinated, and obviously Hermie out at some point,, the seeds are mature..
but the question of the day is,, are these seeds geronteed Hermie,, possible female or male ,, feminized
ive read to many articles and now im confused..
im unsure if one plant pollinated the other two,, or what happened, i wann know if these seeds will produce the awesome bud that these produced...
im not sure if the set up and strain is necessary but ill list any how
strain
afgan/ train wreck
dirt/ organic ( nector of the gods )
r/o water ph 6.5
3 plants under 600 hps
continuous ventilation...

If your plant was a hermaphrodite and self pollinated then the seeds that are in question will be female , but the genetics wont be stable for long so don't get too excited. If you didn't have a male plant then its either hermaphroditism or sometimes the plants can throw seeds because it feels like it. Ive had male plants pollinate my grow , Ive also had a hermaphrodite pollinate itself and others and Ive also had plants put out seeds with no herm or male plants. Seeds that come from hermaphrodites will be female but can strongly
be predisposed to also being hermaphrodites.

Ok yeah i found very few banannas like one or two on one plant..
So basically the only way to know is to plant them.. But theres no guarantee that it or its off spring will be hermi.. My plan is to try and grow them out and use colloidal silver to spawn feminized seeds.. So i dont have to bye this strain any more.. Or take clones since i didnt know if id like the strain.. I had 8 seeds outa ten that were duds or males so. If these are viable id be super happy...
Thanks

Banana's on plant's make the plant Bisexual. The term Hermaphrodite does NOT fit here.
Balls on a female make it a "true" Hermaphrodite.

DO NOT make S1 seeds from a plant that is Bi or Herm, even if the Bi reaction was from environment....
I'm even more concerned that this came from straight run seeds....

I suggest that you pop a good # of those seeds.
Run the plants and take clones from the lower area of the plants and MARK THEM CAREFULLY.
As you flower, watch the plants very closely.
If you see any Bisexual flowers on the plant = Pitch the clones from that plant.
If any of the clones actually make it with out throwing naners = keep and run those clones....You should note that any environmental stress will more easily make these Bi......SO, run the grow tight and these should go ok for a long time....IF they start to throw nanners.....Stop use and get more seeds if you really like that strain...

S1 from plants that do not express both sex's ! Look for the strongest plant that didn't and do the S1 project on that one.

Were the plants from seed themself?

If yes then

Can you identify the seeds that were made from one plant pollinating another not itself?

If yes then

These will be your strongest genetic crosses if you want to persue growing them on and should be reasonably stable and grow just as their parents.

Im not saying selfed seeds are great but they wont be that bad either.

If the buds were well formed and then popped a few nanners then it was most likely stressed and seeds will be feminized...if not??????

Thanks every one for the input.. The nanners formed maybe 2 weeks before harvest.. Wich surprisingly i have mature seeds.. It was from light stress i left on my work light.. One night.. Its replaced by a green one now... Usualy i only use the work light for veg only.. But i turn it on for ph readings (vial) with organics its a pain to get a good sight.. Any ways so the consensus is to pop them.. Cut clones and flowers the clones. See what they do... The strain is awsome but my yeild was crap.. I ran 3 plants (afgan/train wreck) under a 600 watt and only got 300 grams dry weight.. Im thinking id like to cross it with a big yeilder.. Or ill call the breader and see if he could recross it for me...

Did a little research on the strain... It says that its a clone only plant.. So i got it from seed.. Could that be the reason it nannered out? And the yeild is 300 to 350 per sq meter... So for three plant that i didnt top more than 4 times... Is that yeild close to standard..? I didnt use lst or orther griding methods...
