Experienced outdoor grower help needed

First thing is that the leaves on the plant are starting to curl up. Im talking about the fan leaves. They are curling up on the edges long ways (the serrated edge part on both sides of the leaf) almost looks like a "U". It has been flowering since the end of July beginning of August. It is a mids bagseed strain i get from my Jamaican buddy. It is a sativa dominant i know. Second of all, it is real close to its harvest time. The bag i got the seeds from was pretty killer. I dont understand why it doesnt smell skunky very much for one and for 2 it looks nothing like most of the pics i see on this site with mass crystals and resin. But yet i had to remove a branch because my dog broke it eating the leaves. I know it wasnt ready (it happened 4 days ago) but i hung it upside down in the closet. It smelled like grass. Even dried. When i chiefed 2 bowls of it it tasted kinda like northern lights. It had that pine kind of taste to it. Fucked me up pretty good though. Man im sorry cause i totally forgot what the hell i was originally asking help about besides what i said so far. When i remember i will post back... Dammit man i suck sometimes....

if it doesn't look resiny, that's not necessarily a sign that it won't be good once it's picked and dried, but it might not be as strong as the weed it came from. That's genetics for you. I'd let it go as long as possible before picking. The leaf curling sounds like overwatering or overfeeding.
