So i have a 5x5 tent in the basement and have a 6in inline fan + Carbon filter for smell, now i have it exhausting out the tent into the basement..I have about 20 in their and it is stinking up the basement as flowering progresses...It might be because its been a lil humid the last couple days or all of the clean air is venting out the tent into the basement and it smells up over time..Is their away i can vent it outside from the basement? Note: the filter is almost new only been through 1 grow..This is the second..Any suggestions on what i could do?

Thanks.

it sounds like u need some fresh air going in, ive seen grows where they scrub the same air and keep using it, along with co2. hmm try get ur exhaust ducting in a diff room to where ur tent is. i have a y piece conector from tent exhaust going to my house boiler exhaust so it doesnt raise suspicion. goodluck

well i have 22 in my tent and its just scrubbing the air in the tent pushing it out into around my basement and its stinking up...Sense i dont have nowhere to exhaust it to the outside what could i do and my basement is unfinished so i might put it sorta in the ceiling of the basement where some insulation is to see if that kinda kills the smell because its clogging up it seems..Any more help would be good appreciated

If your first grow was odor free and the only thing that has changed is time, then chances are you need a new filter, high humidity seems shorten the life imo. You can apply a few drops "Ona" odor control right on your filter twice a day until you can get a replacement.

get a window adapter like one that comes with a portable ac and throw it out a window in your back yard
