Exhaust/Intake help! please, need some recommended ones.

I tried looking on ebay searching "squirrel cage fan" and there were PARTS that popped up..
I dont know what I need.. but i just know squirell cage fans grab air and push it out through the ducting..

I dont have all the money in the world lol (I am using a 150 HPS) my grow area isnt too big but it is getting really stuffy in the room so i know now is the time to start looking into exhause/intake systems.
if anyone can bring up a site with some prices and maybe advice on what to look for in the products that would be just AMAZING!!! xD

oh wow so they are called Inline duct fans. I cant find my measuring tape but its basically a closet grow. but its all in a 10 gal tote. placed in a room with myself in it playing xbox live :] lol upstairs though.

hey i have never even heard of a squirrel cage fan what is that lol. idk the size of your room but its 150w lit? if its stuffy in the room you need at least 150 cfm im just estimating. but you want to clear the air out of the room 5 times per minute

o0o nice.question.. when i walk in and it feels "stuffy" does that mean its really humid? if so i hear humidity actually is good in the Vegetative process but should be Very low in the flowering phase to prevent the molding

I got a few Squirrel Cage fans for free. If you go to heating and cooling store they throw out there old junk from installs in the trash ask if you can pull a fan off . I use inline's they work the best. Always go bigger than what you think you need.

I had known alittle about the down falls of squirrel cage fans. They are rated for large inflation jobs which means they do well agianst resistance which may be the only positive thing about them. They are noticably louder, require more maintance, and don't directly connect to duct work. I wondered also if they cool themselves like an inline fan does....

Thanks FriendlyGuy, it is nice to know someone is appreciating the effort some of us put into researching and finding the answers to help one another towards a common goal :)

I was going to mention that I really do like my 6" Vortex and would and have recommended them quite a few times....plus they have a 10 year warranty :)

Yeah man this is just the way I am, I understand the countless hours of research people put in to things just to have their brains picked by people who just get it and leave. I am a fuckin Guru in the Health and Fitness field and I got hell-uv-a lot more questions than I did thank yous.

I understand the work put into helping people out, I use to write nutritional plans and exercise plans for people who email me and they never ever get back at me.

But I didnt get my knowledge from dicking around, you gotta be RESPECTFUL and a LISTENER, be humble in life and you will be payed in knowledge and respect.

all I wanna do is just learn so I can help others in those of need, plus I just wanna grow some Crip ass bud PLUS i have a Passion for this site and love the community. everyone is so fucking nice for helpin out and we can CURSE on here and call assholes out on there shit when they are bein dicks to others just tryin to get some help. :] :]

ill definitly look into that vortex though xD
