Yes, actually it was. Both the UN and the Carter Center certified it.

It must take a lot of effort to be this uninformed.
From the Carter Center's website:

“In 2012, I applauded Venezuela’s use of electronic voting machines as exemplary in the world,” said former U.S. President Jimmy Carter. “That characterization since has been misused by Nicolas Maduro to suggest a broad validation of Venezuela’s election system as a whole and of subsequent elections that The Carter Center did not observe. In fact, The Carter Center and others routinely have expressed concern about government interference in recent electoral processes. The Carter Center has not observed elections formally in Venezuela since 2004.”

You really are a joke Tty. You believe whatever you want as long as you can find a "report" on the internet. I doubt that it takes you "much effort" to be this uninformed. You could have easily searched the Carter Center's website - once again, your "homework" did not get a passing grade.

I'll offer you a makeup Tty. Please show me where the Carter Center "certified" the election.

Where did you get this info? From what I can see the UN far from certified it and actually went as far as to call the elections highly suspect, maybe I read it wrong. Could you please post your source so I can clarify.
Tty doesn't understand how the UN works. Pretty much anybody can say whatever they want. The UN has not certified the election but Russia said some nice things about Maduro.

Ttystikk is a propaganda media victim that supports the right wing agenda. Anything that comes from him is suspect.

Well that’s why I asked because nothing I’ve read says anything remotely like they certified it. They do recognize Maduro as the president but not that his election was legitimate. Unless, again I’m missing something. I would like to hear why tty feels differently?

From what planet do you get your information? On this one at this time in this plane of existance, under no circumstances did the Carter Center certify Maduro's election.

Carter Center: Venezuelan Democracy at Critical Juncture

ATLANTA — Venezuela is undergoing an historic moment as it attempts to reconcile deep political divisions that have undermined its democracy.

The National Assembly that was freely elected in 2015, and subsequently disbanded by President Nicolas Maduro, has declared Juan Guaidó president of Venezuela through an interpretation of the presidential succession clause in the constitution approved in 1999 under President Hugo Chavez. This is a Venezuelan struggle that has attracted the attention and involvement of key states in the international community as well as the Organization of American States and the United Nations.

In discussions about the status of democracy and elections in Venezuela, some have made misleading comments about the Carter Center’s past involvement in elections there.

The Carter Center supports the valiant efforts of the Venezuelan people to resolve a political conflict that has resulted in economic devastation, a humanitarian crisis, and an exodus of refugees. This is a critical juncture for the Venezuelan people who are calling for democracy.

Is this where I get called a shill or fascist or, gasp, a clown, because I dared post facts that disagreed with the propaganda you regurgitate?

Oh, and as long as we are talking, I'm wondering if you could tell me what you mean when you use the word, neoliberal? The way you use that word doesn't match common use for it.

Tty covers his eyes and starts to scream about how uninformed you are. "An early version " of that website totally misled him.

He'll repeat the lie about Carter as if it had never been completely refuted. He always does. Just like Trumpkins who haven't gotten over the fact the Hillary Clinton has never actually done anything wrong other than piss off some Republicans. No matter how many investigations ended with "nothing found", they still chant "lock her up".

So, @ttystikk just trots out false garbage propaganda like "Bernie was robbed". Again and again.

Looks like Beto pulled in more campaign $$ than Bernie after announcing his run.

Bernie and Beto top fund raisers.

Both white males, Democrats are being so racist in a field of women and minorities.

it's grassroots funds raised by 'we the people' which is a good indicator of what 'we the people' want in a president- wait until uncle joe joins the group and starts pulling in corporate donations- you'll feel better and more at home..
