the outer leaf separates from the inner and starts to peel. This is so frustrating, and is the major difficulty to me in rolling blunts.
Any tips?

ya....i lick the wrap first....(not the whole thing) just the part i'm cutting...this helps the 2 papers stay together....once open, i seal the edges all around then roll

exactly LB you hit that nail on the head, thats one of the main reason i usually only buy packs of 5! theyre rarely crispy, almost always soft and perfect

Happens to me, too. I've found that using your lips to wet it and press it back together at the same time works best. Ya feel me?
