Everything with my new ebb and grow 12 pot hydro set?

I just ordered the ebb and grow by CAP , the 12 pot setup. I'm switching over from soil. I'm used to using fox farm nutes so I have all fox farm nutes including the three pack and now the grow big hydro bottle. I also picked up florasheild for cleaning and resivor change? I also got a jug of sm-90 as an addative to help with root problems? Not sure if these go well together? I was hoping somone could help with this in telling me if these fluids work well together or at all with the system Ive got (ebb and grow)?

No one has any info?

Have same set up dont like it leaves to mutch water in bottom of buckets causes root rot and please whetever you do dont use organics in it makes problem worse my only sugg is put air stone in each bucket most expensive paper weight i own

I hear that if you have problems with water siting in the bottom to have them siting alittle higher than the controler. Another you said root rot well use florasheild or h202 or sm-90? Your the only one complaining so far. Anyone else?

My friends use h202 and they also made little spacers to give the top bucket extra room to stay clear of the water. Thats the only thing I know though

I have heard about spacers to lift the pots out of the water. Air is yours and my friend so I'll be picking up another yes two air stones running inside the 55 gallon res!!! I'm exited about this challange. I just wish it wasn't so difficult to clone.

Hey just smokin, i cant reallly give 100% on those nutes cause im unfamiliar with fox-farm. I'm not sure if your saying you wanna use your soil nutes, in your hydro system? I'm no pro but I believe they are designed to work at different ph levels and such. I only know bout the nutes I use. But I do know everything bout those. You should research your nutes specifcally to see what works.

As far as the buckett system, I built a diy version of this that uses a reservoir under the grow table and pumps nutes up to the buckets, it is designed in such a way that the pump turns on fills buckets to a level I set by a single overflow that dumps back to the tank. No bucket can ever get higher than the overflow is set even if it runs for hours. I also made sure my fill/drains were as close to the bottom of the outer bucket as possible. My inner bucket with the root ball in it dosent get low enogh to touch any standing water. If yours do then simply space them a little higher to prevent the standing water from reaching them. Also, with this type of system you will feed as often as once every two hours, so as long as you are aerating your water real good, and exchanging that water often this system will work fine.

Thanks Im supper excited and mabey I should of been clearer I'm using foxfarm nutes with a feeding chart for hydro it has me doing resivor changes every two weeks . So I got florasheild to help with that
