About to go on a OG hunt. The way I remember OG Kush is Lemony/Pine and what I can only describe as kushy. Like when you get the sulfur just right. 00’s Cali “Dro”.

What is your favorite OG, How would you describe OG Kush. What’s your take on lineage. Which Breeders have good OG cuts and lines. Pics of your OG, how would you describe the grow/Structure/Leaf Expression, common mutations, Etc.
Example:
(Finicky, I’ve grown an OG Kush from Cali and a few times. Not a lot of other OG strains and hybrids. They’re always a bit stretchy and will have dense chunky nugs. Pinesoul, gassy goodness.)
I have regretted giving up an OG keeper every time. This time I’m finding long term keeper so any pointers would help.
Might be down to try a clone only but definitely prefer seeds, I have Ghost OG already but haven’t flowered her yet. Regular seeds too. Most OG seeds I see are fems.

If you prefer reg seeds vs clones look into karmas og crosses and as for describing og id say theres some variation on the og taste profile some are more lemon pinesole type ogs and some have more chemmy kushy notes theres obviously some cross over between them but thats how i would describe them its certainly different vs a actual pure hindu kush its its own thing even if its probably got some of that family in it somewhere

TK is one of my favorites. Great pain medicine. I like the ghost cut as well. I describe OG often as tasting kushy/earthy with varying degrees of lemon or lemon Pledge. I grew out some seeds from Amsterdam my buddy brought back that were just generic OG kush seeds and wish like hell I had cloned it. Really nice yield even though I torched it figuring out a new light setup. Best of luck with the hunt. It's a strain worth looking for in my opinion.

SFV is my favorite OG but I gotta say most of the good ones are pretty similar in my estimation of things.

Anyone intrested, Darkstar seedbank has a couple packs of the SFV OG BX1 in stock. 40$ 1/2 packs 80$-10 seeds. Not bad 10$ shipping domestic US. They use Lorans longbottom leaf as the cross back to the SFV OG. LLF is SFV x Jacks Cleaner.

Gonna look into that now. Ethos has TK too. Anyone ran ethos TK hybrids like OG D Lux? I have a pack of that for this too.

Where did you score those SFV bx from mota? I grew out a pack of his black swampgas outdoors and only got one female, but was amazing smoke. I've been on the hunt for reg OG seeds as well, I have SFV, and TK clones waiting to root, and I wanted to make some BX seeds in the future

Archive has some sick FaceOff OG crosses, they also have Malibu Pure Kush and L.A. Pure Kush (not sure if those are the same, pheno selections maybe?) crosses in their lineup worth checking out.

My 2 cents: the real beauty of Kush is in the exhale. Like you said, best way to say it is that it tastes "kushy" :lol: lol. Kinda almost like Chem but not quite, Kush is distinctly different than Chem but hard to say exactly how.
