I was wondering if It would be safe to put some essential oils in my humidifier to prevent mold.

Your humidifier will say somewhere in its booklet whether or not this is a bad idea. Generally, a very small amount is cool though, even if the book says otherwise. Not sure if you could add enough to prevent any mold with that amount though.

I think that would be bad for almost all humidifiers, mine specifically state not to use any. I'm assuming you mean green algae? I just do my best to constantly clean the equipment. A bleach wash is the only way to completely clean it out.

No I didn’t even think of that but I don’t grow hydro. I read that humidifier increase like white mold and stuff even in veg

I use RO water for mine. It's in the tent so it only kills about a gallon every other day.

This is what I use for my humidifier during drying. I don't run a humidifier in my grow rooms, even though it's dry as hell here. My closet actually reads 15% and 13% right now.

It wouldn't vaporize it, you'd just get a lot of salts crudding up your tank.
