Eso's pheno hunt

So the presumed goji s1 was indeed a random pollination from being outside, my goji s1 currently running was in fact a male so I choppy chop.

So I have 3 tp x miyagi females, 1 tp x goji mix, 1 lvtk, 1 c99 and 1 tangerine power that will be hitting the flower tent next wkend.

All the tp crosses are showing similar looking leaves, the goji and 1 of the miyagi have slightly wider leaves and 2 of the miyagis have thinner leaves. I'm getting sweet earthy smells from the miyagis and a sweet menthol smell from the goji so far no orange smells on stem rub which is disappointing sort of anyway.

The tangerine power male does seem to put of good structure and pretty veg plants and hopefully holds up during flower too. 20180728_224410.jpg

Decided to pop 1 hso bubba's gift, I was gonna pop it with the b.dog and e.cake but didn't. After hearing it had a blueberry cereal purps taste I figured fuck it. It was a freebie from a at least a few years back so no harm no foul if it doesn't pop of I can't fit it in. She'll be at least a week behind the dogs and cakes. Flavor town

What the hell. I subbed your thread. And nvr got any notifications. I've missed a bunch.

But anyway. The goji crosses are fukn rockn brother. I dont like posting pics in other people's grow journals. But they are yours. So....

Both of those in the back are the Tang Pow × Goji Og. The one in front of it is Tang Pow #1 I think is what you labelled it. And then the smaller one in the solo that's the biggest is another Tang Pow ×Goji Og I believe. I have so many different ones going. It's hard to remember which is which without looking at the labels. But I know for sure the 3 in the first pics are yours.

They're looking good man! The tp x goji is definitely a pretty plant and has good structure. Doesn't look like it'll be a stretcher by the way it is growing but never know.

The tang pow #1 is the f2 from my keeper that is indica leaner, orange cream pop flavor, she was a slow veg so I wouldn't be surprise if some of her offsprings are slow in veg. Not too slow but definitely slower than the tang pow #3.

I'll be throwing my 3 tp x miyagi and 1 tp x goji females in flower next weekend so I'll keep you updated on how they flower.

Cheers and thanks for sharing man.

Tonight's the night. Girls are in the flower tent
I know that song is better for a breeding night but it was this or smashing pumpkins tonite tonite.

3 tp x miyagi (citrus twist), 1 tp x goji (golden goji), 1 lvtk, c99 clone, tang pow clone. The tp clone I'm adding in case one of the crosses herm or something, that way I still got smoke coming off the tp.

I know I go on about my miyagi cut but she is solid and gives very solid heavy yields. I chopped her tonight probably a week or so early because I wanted to clear room for the seedlings. She went 60ish days but needs 70 or so this time because I had to drop down to 250w because of heat. That caused her to foxtail a bit and these foxtails need more time to finish.
She had a more fruity smell this time chopping her up.

Edit: thats a 4' dow rod pushed down in the soil a bit for gauge of size.

The tangerine power crosses are showing some stretch. And showing clear phenos.
miyagi x tangerine power (citrus twist) #1, taller looks more miyagi leaning , had to top her
20180804_230259.jpg 20180804_230328.jpg
Miy x tp (citrus twist) #2, grows more like tang pow male, not topped
20180804_230610.jpg 20180804_230621.jpg
may x tp (citrus twist) #3, tall stretchier, again looks more miyagi, had to top20180804_230736.jpg20180804_230743.jpg
goji mystery cross x tang pow (golden goji), shortest stoutest plant, not topped, shouldn't stretch much I'm guessing

The last 2 pics are c99 clone doing well, topped many times.

Well one of the citrus twist (miyagi x tangerine power) has a couple balls on her, I'm not sure if she is full blown hermie or just some pre flower confusion so I'll keep an eye and pluck the balls as they form. If they just keep forming she's a goner. If I only pluck a few and then there are no more then I'll let her finish flowering.

If multiple plants show hermies then unfortunately the male is a no go. The girls did go through a lot of stress so I expected any hermie traits to show up on this run. I'll get pics up later and keep up the reports as they continue to flower.

Well it ain't looking good for the miyagi x tp, 2/3 definitely had balls. #1 had a ball I plucked last nite and #3 I had to cut down because she had balls all over. I'm watching #1 for now and will let it flower out if I can pluck all balls and keep it sinsemilla and I'll be watching the remaining #2 and goji x tp very closely.

It sucks balls, pun intended, because the plants look great and are flowering pretty vigorously. I'll have to pop some of the miyagi x grapes 13 I have to see if those herm too or if it is just the tp pairing.

I'm also hoping to pop 3 x tp #1 f2s, 3 x tp#3 f2s and 3 miyagi x grapes 13 towards the end of september and throw them in 12/12 from seed just to see if they have any herm problems. I'm planning on doing those in a 9 site diy dwc.

The HSO black dog and cannarado east cakes are looking nice and green though so that's always good. I posted the east cakes in the EC thread I started so here are the black dogs.

I forget what numbers each girl really is so I'll just go 1,2,3 for these photos.

So the miyagi x tang pow is a herm machine. I found a ball on every single one of the miyagi x tp, so far none on the goji x tp.

I can say that miyagi x tp #2 is gonna be frosted out though. She is only 16 days in 12/12 and is furtherest along in flower and showing the best resin, even better than my tang pow and c99 clones. She has the best natural structure too.

miyagi x tp #2

the tang pow #1 clone is always a beauty in veg and flower

The seedlings had maxed out under the 2ft and kind of stalled so I swap it out for the 4ft and now they're going again. One of the black dogs had a hiccup a few days ago but it is the stringy pheno so not that big of a deal I reckon.
The less attractive pheno #1, topped her but she is slow to recover
20180822_173404.jpg
#2, descent side growth and structure
20180822_173355.jpg
#3, also has good structure and side growth

This is what I need to do too
I ran mh when I first started growing and it did produce better resin and terps but couldn't keep up with bud production compared to hps but I keep hearing the cmh will blow away a 400w hps so I'm down to check it out.

I got the 315w from growers house for $250 plus 20 for shipping but there are several options both more expensive and less expensive.

This is the kit I got
