Envirocycle, compost runoff=tea?

My wife just bought this "Envirocycle" compost barrel and it looks pretty cool. It has this one questionable feature in that it catches liquid from your compost, with which they advise you to water your plants, undiluted, as a "tea". "Tea" is their word for it. This sounds more like stinky garbage water than AACT "tea" IMO.
Am I right? Would you follow those directions? Also, more importantly for me, can you take that liquid and bubble it with molasses and then use it? I guess I am kind of skeptical about compost products that are available instantly, you know?

I'll let y'all know how this thing works out. Basically she got it because the dog gets into the compost. The positive for me is that we live in the desert and it's hard to compost here anyway-maybe this will help.

compost runoff is not tea, i9t's call leachate. Unless you're growing outside dump it back into the barrel, I wouldn't use it for cannabis tat are indoor container planters. I usually leachate for gnat control drench outdoors because it works.
