OK so im on a roll tonight with good ideas and Listen/give advice on this one...

OK my white widows have been neglected since i started them on april 1st from seed. ... i have just begun to give them nutes lol. so they have some issues. MAINLY nitro deficientcies but the growth has been stunted as well. ... I currently have them in soil but im ready to run a DWC system, im done with soil. My question is this.... Would it be better to "wash" the soil of of the exsisting roots/plant OR would it be wise to cut the plant at its root system and place it in the DWC as is (maybe dipping it in cloning solution as well?) .....

I really dont want to grow this plant out in soil so i can get my 10 or so clones for my DWC grow. Its going to take forever in the soil i have it in (walmart clone starte soil) .... I want to run my DWC unit NOW! lol

EDIT: just curious, Could i possibly cut the plant like a clone at its base and dip it in cloning gel then run it in a DWC or Aero cloner? ...Would it act as a clone?

you may be able to get the main stalk to root if its not too woody by now. i would think you could give the root ball a good soaking in water and superthrive and it will wash most of the soil away.

So my original post has alot of flaws but my main question is will this plant die if I "wash" the roots and place it in a DWC. ... Im thinking no, but im looking for some experienced advice on this one
