Hey hey - i am so proud of these little ladies I had to share with my AZ Crew!

There does not seem to be any adverse effects from my over nuting last week - thanks for the quick heads-up!

End of Week One Flower.
  • 2 Kushberry in the back against the wall
  • LA Confidential front left
  • Purple Kush front right
Speaking of the Purple Kush, seems to be a much smaller squater (is that a word) plant. It has show some yellow dots on a few of the leaves. Could that be from getting splashed with nutrient rich water? I have looked for mites, but could not find any.

On another note, i did add a Preying Mantis to my room for good luck. I have found a cricket or two and I have heard they are good luck. Cute little fellow, best of luck to him, he now has a glorious domain (he is second in command, however)

The kush will always grow short and bushy its mostly Indica so you will have a short stout plant. Yellow dots can be from nute burn or cal/mag issues. Take some pics of the yellow dots and we shall try and diagnose your problem?

OK Team - the first photo is the 6 plants i currently have in flower - 2 Purple Kush, 2 Kushberry and 2 LA Confidential.

The second photo (albeit blurry) is a photo of the purple kush that has some yellowing around the edges? Opinions? PH / CalMag?

Thanks!

it can be hard to figure out exactly what the deficiency is. i would start by getting a good handle on your ph levels. you could be feeding and feeding but if you have the improper ph in your soil then you will have a lockout of certain nutrients and this will show as a deficiency. most "deficiencies" are due to lockout rather than underfeeding because mj growers are usually very eager to feed there plants all kind of shit. next time you water, check the ph before and the ph of the runoff. it is the runoff ph that you are most interested in as this is the ph inside the soil. if it is not at the right levels (5.8-6.5) then flush your pots. if this is not the case then report back and we will start going through the list of possibilities.

Further...

A PH lower than 5.5 can cause a lockup of Magnesium - Epsom Salt can cure this deficiency... I just posted this thread HERE... #1 post has link to help....

Which might be the case...

in general marijuana loves magnesium so it is a good possibility, I am fighting a mag deficiency right now with my Epsom salts.

Magnesium Deficiency;
- Yellowing of leaves
- Green veins on leaves
- Purple stems on leaves
- Small Necrotic spots on leaves

Glorious Bud Sites.jpgFull Flower Room.jpgBeautiful LA - AKA LA Woman.jpgMekong Delta.jpg

Boom goes the Dynamite!

Here they are after a full 3 weeks of flower - looking very lush IMO.

The Purple Kush is just a tiny plant although most of it is bud sites - so hopefully it will be Small but Mighty!

The LA Confidential is a beautiful looking plant (3rd photo from the left)

I do think i will need to drop these down from the lights as some of them are withing 6-8" of a 1000W bulb (granted it is hooded an vented)

If i finished them on the floor - off of the buckets the would be about 24" off of the light - opinions?

All in all - i think they are coming along nicely.

I am headed to Mexico this weekend and have a buddy looking after them - i would be more comfortable having him watch my children, they are easier!

OK here we are a full 4 weeks into flower. The LA are my favorite so far - they seem to be flourishing. The Purple Kush are tiny little plants and the Kushberry are loaded with trichs but have smaller buds. I realize that some of this might be due to my LST'ing.

I just added two more LA's yesterday into the flower room and it will be interesting to compare yields with NO LST'ing.
