End of the flower stage trick I use

Hello all, it's been awhile but I want to share something with you fellow growers. I've heard all sorts of ways to finish up the final stage faster, by raising lights, reducing light hours all all sorts of other things, that to be honest, I really don't see any real difference, if anything it slows em down from what I have seen, I've been playing around with my favourite strain the past few grows, temp , air circulation really does matter don't get me wrong it's essential, anyway to the point of this post, I did the opposite of what most say...I dropped my lights down to the point the fans Crispen up around the edges from the heat, and let me tell you it really swelled up my babies and incredibly fast also, with no other negative effects..some are going to really question this but perhaps try it out yourself... it's possibly strain dependant, I'm growing purple Kush from mendos. But I wouldn't be here wasting my time sharing this if it didn't work for me , and I'd suggest giving it a try some day

There’s a lot of growers here with lights too low and frying leaves. They should be happy to read this.

I dunno if I’m frying because of nutes or lights... or temps...but these buds are on swole... I don’t even wanna cut it down... they getting the big head.. I moved my lights down trying to get closer to bottom buds... this 315 got them buds sparkling

I found that by the end of flowering none foxtailed except one just a tiny bit but the buds looked just as good as the rest, I guess when it's real late in flower it doesn't cause much negative effect. If at all and yes very dense bud. I'm gonna have to upload acouple photo's now to show it is dank buds also I got two outside my tent ready to trim

These one's didn't get their leaf's fried as bad as some others and trust some are much worse, and all the bud looks the same on every plant and it's definitely 100% fire bud. So you know what I'm doing it right. What made me notice is the ones closer to the light that was receiving more leaf burn were swelling allot more than the others, so then I dropped the light on the rest and they all caught up , and I'm talking within days , some swelled so fast it blew my mind and I'm not even joking

I don't know if it's the sudden heat or because I was really pushing the amount of light the plant receives, but it somehow freaked em out and in a good way, I've watched plants do there process on many occasions, I'm usually very strict on what I do and gotta have things to perfection, but there has come a time were I need to experiment so yeah

What light were you using?

It could be many other factors aswell. Light alone wouldnt just make it bulk up like that. Did you adjust nutrients? watering rates? Can you explain the environment before and after?

I only adjusted my light which were x2- 600w hps, fed normally with canna classic A B and a good dose of PK13 week 4-6, the noticeable increase was during the swell stage just as the pistils were turning and I dropped my lights way lower than usual, temps hit an average of 86f+ the fans circulating the air was burning leaves abit..this made my buds mature at a faster rate than I've usually experienced , and they still dense and crystally as hell , they also are the same strain but different phenos and they all took it well. Also helped dense up the lower buds. I'm going to be doing it again on my next run but perhaps even earlier . I love weed knowledge I'm always learning myselfthings for , because everyone has their own opinions, but for me this worked a treat.. I'm sure some will give this a try and give some feedback for us

Do this again. Repeat it... Document your results next run?
