Encountered My First Male.. Now what?

So, 3 days ago I was up close and personal with the plants, to give them an ACT.. and didn't even notice it at the time.

But only 3 days later, holy crap.. it's impossible to miss this:

It's been exactly 2 weeks since the switch to 12/12. My concern is, that the male above was in a cabinet with another plant:

It doesn't appear to have clear signs of sex yet, which makes me think I should have let it veg longer, but that's besides the point. Do I need to worry about the other plant having been in the same cabinet with the male? As I was poking around with the male (because I actually had no idea what the hell was going on for a moment), i squeezed the tops and they just kind of fell off. The sacks weren't filled with anything. Didn't even smell good :(

That male is already cut down and out of the cabinet.

So... do I need to worry about anything, and does anyone see signs of sex on the 2nd plant? The plant is 48 days old, and was switched to 12/12 at day 34. I was running out of room which is why i flipped it..

Thanks!

That bottom plant pic is clearly female

Are you new to growing these plants could've been sex way before this happend
It can be easy to look for sex if you know what you're looking for

so long as the male sacks didnt open and fill your room with pollen then you'll be good.

they dont look like they have in the pick. and your bottom pic looks fine from here, maybe a closer pic ?

The male was a nice looking plant and maybe worth possibly breeding but he's gone.
My first grow I killed the males and kicked myself later for not crossing a few.
But anyway, that last pix looks like it has female flowers.
What is the name of the 'strain'?

The part you circled is actually a small leaf. Not completely new to it, just never had a male before, or really seen one because I was only concerned with the females lol!

Supposedly, it's "Dutch Treat," but the beans are from someone who may not have been completely trustworthy. They all germ, and there's been females that did well, but people have said her strains weren't all true. Who knows!

Spray your grow area with water to demobilize any pollen that might have been released and you'l be fine
