Hi there, I need advice with my PM. First of all, you will not see PM on them because it's the very beginning of the infestation and I have already cleaned it off. There was very little on them. But I run a perpetual 12/12 from seed and I often introduce new plants and have plants at different stage.

The 4 plants that I have seen PM on: (Agent Orange, Chemo, AO, AO !!)

The one leaf that I think I could still see PM when I took the picture:

Why I am so worry to put them back in my 3x3 tent? I have a beautiful healthy Agent Orange that I have seen no sign of PM on it.

I have since cleaned the room with bleach and I added a portable fan (there is 3 in the 3x3 tent, one slightly useless blowing air from the top down and the 2 that you can see on the pics), I have a 4'' inline fan running 24-7, RH in my basement is about 50ish.

SHOULD I SCRATCH THESE BEAUTIFUL PLANTS? or I should put them back in the room and wait for any other sign of PM on them, with the addition of the new portable fan it might be enough to keep it at bay? With my perpetual I cannot afford to keep battling plants with PM everyday because it's perpetual and it will be a nightmare.

The plants are currently waiting you guys answer, .... HELP

id relax, smoke a doobie, and think of all my options at this point, and choose the one i think is best suited for the situation at hand

I smoked a ton of dubbies already!! haha really I know they look so healthy but I am worry that the PM will show up and since it is airborne it will certainly endup on my best plant, I dont know how she hasnt gotten infected yet... I got 2 options, kill em, or stick em back in the room and risk that they will infect the other 2 (that is if they are not affected yet...) Is it possible to control PM only with airflow and low RH?

I want to go to bed and I dont know what to do... I am puzzled as how I got the PM in the first place. They are so beautiful they are hard to kill...

no answer ,... the usual, everytime I have an important question nobody is there to help. I will leave my plant outside of the tent with only the shitty 15 watts cfl over them for the night. Then I will get up in the morning and kill them... about 30 $ worth of seeds, plus soil and time... that blows (not for the 30$ but for being 1 fuking month behind ....)

fucking disease with no cure...

Old hippy Humboldt trick. Lemon solution spray. 1/4 tsp of lemon juice in a quart of water. I use tap water. It works instantly. Just shake plant afterwards and maybe put a fan on it for 10 min to help dry.

I've tried baking soda solution too. It worked a little, but stained the leaves. I read that it also breaks down cellulose tissue.

Neem works but suffocates the plant causing stress and possible herme

Thanks man, I was trying to do some research last night but I was too tired and kept getting side tracked ... I didnt want to use anything harsh and I had done the baking soda about 6 months ago when I first had to deal with PM (on clones from a friend...) and I found that the dry baking soda on the leaves almost looked like the PM so it was hard to tell if it was still coming out... However, the lemon juice seems to be exactly what I was looking for. I felt confident to put my plants back in the tent, in fact I had to put one in the room due to lack of space in the tent from installing the additional portable fan. I think I accidently used 1/2 a tsp so I hope I didnt over do it.

You saved them Hyroot!!! for now!!! Let's hope that with the additional airflow I am in the clear.

OK, apologies for this ridiculous question but I can't figure it out with my very limited knowledge of plant issues. So, can someone tell me what PM is? (other than a Private Message...lol)

powdery mildew, if you have a vegetable garden, often time most squash will be badly affected at the very end of the season, I think it could be how I brought the spores inside...

Ahhhh, I see. Yeah, you could easily introduce such spores from your outdoor personal veg garden. Thanks for the info....yet another worry I have now...LOL.

The lemon or baking soda, etc are temporary fixes...at least that's my experience. The better temp fix to me is a mix of 4:1 mix of milk and water. They will work to control the PM if repeated often enough. If you want to get rid of it, try Serenade. You are using a bacteria to hunt down and kill the PM in your plant. You'll probably need to reapply once or twice but it can kill the PM. Good luck.

serenade is no good. it smells like the gnarliest ass ever and burns the shit out of your plants. stay away from that

Never had it on my MJ plants. On my veggie garden the only thing that worked for me was a product called greencure. I tried a using a weekly application of milk, baking soda and a couple of drops of dish soap for a couple of months during the previous season. It didn't help. This year I sprayed two applications of greencure and it took care of it. I've been told that neem oil will at least stop PM from spreading and that may work for you since you caught it earily.

I am so happy someone mentioned Lemon water! I read that you were going to kill your plants and my heart sank...

The Lemon water or baking soda water are good options. Many growers use the lemon water a few times throughout the grow to prevent PM.

As far as the Greencure goes It's basic function is the same as a Baking soda/water solution. Take care of those babies!
