Strain: Emerald Triangle Seeds - Blueberry Headband
Growth: Slow Vegetative growth...Once sprouted (20on/4off light) this plant got 25 days of vegg time and was about 11" when started under 12/12 light. This plant stretches more than double in height within the first 20 days of 12/12 light. After stretch this plant was about 33" tall, but all the branches were bent to discourage any more height and to grow out horizontally instead. Note that I topped this plant once. And 10 days after being in 12/12 light, I trimmed the bottom straggly looking branches leaving only 2 internodes (4 main branches) worth of growth. Made for some nice long colas in the end.
Nutrients: Subcool Super Soil (recipe slightly altered) in the bottom 60% of my 5 gallon felt grow bag, and the remaining 40% normal unamended organic potting soil.
Yield: 158.2 grams
Difficulty to Trim: 8/10 lol this was a disaster to trim even with brand new sharp clippers. Plenty of tiny leaflets poking out everywhere making it even hard to trim deep into the bud to get the petioles off for the water leaves at the main stem. I tried to focus on getting every bit of petiole of the water leaf out of the bud and only moderately touched up on the little sugar leaflets since they had a good amount of resin on them.
Bag Appeal: 7/10 Only complaint I personally have was the length of the hairs....otherwise it was great texture once cured for 3-4 weeks. Very light green with an almost gray tint from all of the resin.
Smell: 9.5/10 The smell always brought the compliments from the friends I shared this weed with. Smells like a sickly sweet Blueberry flavored Jolly Rancher candy with only a very slight odor of fuel......Until it is ground up...then the fuel smell comes out much stronger.
Taste: 9/10 Taste was great! Just like the smell, just instead of any sourness it was all sweet. No fuel taste to it, only blueberry and loads of sugar.
The High: 8.5/10 The high was a semi-creeper. Didn't come on too strong in the bong or glass pipe, but if you smoked it in the vaporizer it did hit you almost instantly. With the bong, pipe, or joint, you drifted slowly deeper and deeper into a strong head high, with a slight body effect as well. After 2-3 bong hits and 10-15 minutes, you could feel it very vividly in your mind and after 30 minutes the body high came on more strongly. A whole fat joint smoked by myself OR 5-6 nice green bong rips made me completely dazed on multiple occasions. However, this was the only strain of weed I have had to smoke for the last 4 weeks now, and it is starting to grow old on me and takes about 1.5 grams to get me super ripped, whereas at first it was about 0.75g
