Email from clinic!!!!!!

So I get an email today saying my dr. Retired and now I have to be interview again by another dr. For a renewal. Umm idk about this and they're saying its 525$ now. I thought they aren't allowed to charge a fee this is rediculous. Idk what to do. Why do I even have to do it?

@525 I'd call them to let them hear just how hard I was laughing at that fact.
I'd then inform the crooks that the email will go to your lawyer and HC and to the RCMP just to file an offense and make it well known.

Did you pay the doctor the first time? If so, that would have been your first thought to the next down fall.

Go see the doctor when he asks for money tell him he's not allowed. Simple as that...if he won't give you a renewal without paying him report him. If he's taking money for medical cannabis renewals what else is he taking money for?

Yes I paid last time I didn't know any better. But now everything's in court so wtf.

Dude send me a direct message, I can maybe help you if you can drive to Toronto. I do not like the Dr I go to see, but it is better then 500$, better then 300, its free(well they will try to charge you 150$, but just go and then tell them when they ask that they can not do that. Anyways hit me up if you want the help. At the end of the day Fuck the MMPR, I only joined because injunction did not cover me and I travel to the east coast a lot and I did not want to catch a charge going to visit my Grandma, if not for that reason I would not have even joined.

sure does seem a little fishy...
your covered by the injunction...so why renew until you have to...???
I have been waiting for this kind of email....but so far it has not happened.
I would almost think that they are trying to get in under some kinda deadline....for doctors to follow...
Has anyone heard of a punitive cut off dead line for doctors by the college of phy....??
Dr Retired?...probably after this one last scam...525x4380 patients=$2,299500.00
$525 per seems high even by old mmar standards...

Ya it's the most I ever paid. They said my dr. got ill and had to retire

Call the college of physicians and ask for their advice n opinion.
Get urself some research in hand so when u go see your dr u will have them by the short n curlys.
The clinic i go to tried to do the same thing to my gf when she recently signed up. They only wanted 125 but i still said didnt you just swipe her health card? They said ya and i said so wouldnt that be considered double dipping and exactly the thing that hc and the college has said is illegal now?
Surprisingly they never mentioned the 125 again but im sure they still try with everyone that doesnt know better

What clinic is that Toke. i know someone who needs to get legal.
