If I'm not mistaken you just get access to some other subforums that regular members do not have access to.

That is one of the benefits. Elites can also neg rep people, they can lock their own threads, they can turn off their own rep, they get their screen name written in big red letters too!

Good luck on getting any answers from mods though. None of them that I have talked to know anything about why elite subscriptions are not being granted anymore. I did hear something about RIU not having any way to accept payment. That doesn't make much sense to me though.

Well i spoke with the mod today and he told me rollitup kind of forgot about it but he is looking for another way to accept payments because what they were using before(paypal)does not do it any more.

Well then i dont know but i would contribute to the site...

Contribute with informative posts. Nobody needs these 'priviledges' and just throwing cash around doesn't make you 'elite'.

I hear ya but i dont mind donating 5 dollars a month so this site could be better.

Okay you got me there you are buying it but they say you are donating to the site..Its cool tho im just saying if it was availible i would pay the 5 a month for it..
