effects of flowering under 18/6

Hi,
ive been growing two lowryder#2, 1x humboldt, 1x Northern lights, for about 9 weeks its my first grow and they've been grown under a 250w hps in soil with take root and flowering nutes, i topped the humboldt and nl at 3 weeks and planned too veg them until the lowryders are harvested and i can flip the lights to 12/12, about a month ago the nl showed signs of preflower.... or so i thought since then it has just continued to flower, now i havent changed the light cycle but there have been blips power cuts etc. the lr#2 is still about a week away so i cant change lights without decreaseing yield.
my question is this why did it start flowering and what effect is the 18/6 light cycle having on the nl?

Thanks as always

they won't flower with only 6 hours of darkness m8, I'm pretty sure, someone correct me if i'm wrong, but a plant needs a minimum of 10 hours darkness to flower

theres a chance that a power outage caused it to go into flower, as her day cycle is at night the power could have gone out and come back on without me noticing, but why does it continue to flower? ive relocated my growspace recently due to height issues (hence the leaf burns in picture), but this was after she started to flower but the bud sites are def still getting bigger.

it's a possibility, depending on how long the power outage was, if anything it would have stressed the plant. have you monitored your timer to make sure it's only staying off for 6 hours and not faulty? I assume you have, but being day/nights switched you may not of had the opportunity

and you can't stay on 18/6 while its flowering and stay flowering... your nl will begin to reveg and the entire growth structure will start to change.

you gave it flowering nutes in veg?
18/6 wont trigger flowering unless your power company does it in purpose. Auto flowers flower no matter the light cycle.

don't know much about autos would more light to them only speed up auto flowering growth? if this is the case he won't have a problem switching to 12/12 and interfering with his lowryder..

they are auto's aren't they? 18/6 is irrelevant, that's what jesus was pointing out i believe.

dude youre not getting it his plants are continuing to flower a couple of small power outages arent going to give the plant enough time to build up phytochrome especially when it takes 2 hours of darkness for this to even begin to occur some strains need less darkness to flower although 18/6 is quite surprising. I have also read that if vegged for a long period of time males will begin to show flowers
