eCommerce Sites and IP Address Loggin

I know about Tors and Web Proxies, but I'd like to know how long some of the major eCommerce Sites keep IP Address's and other logs. Any ideas?

Depends from company to company based on private data policies ect, for example google stores all your search historys and keywords for avg of 30 years, where as another company might not keep as extensive backlogs, as you can assume a major ecommerce site probably keeps extensive logs given the sizes of their databases and nature of the security heavy transactions (security being first priority as electronic theft is probably the main reason for encryption of transaction and billing data through internet protocols.)

What ecommerce site in particular where you referring to? Most likely you would not find any specific time frame, but judging by security risks and size of the company you could estimate a plausible backlog of years or more atleast I would say, without hesitation.
