I just completed my 1st grow in a an ecogrower.....harvesting tonight. I started my babies from seed in the ecogrower.

I had six plants going and 5 were male! Horrible luck. I was so pissed! Although, my one Female is a champ. It looks as if she may reap 2.5 z's. All in all I like the ecogrower. But....

I have 2 problems with the ecogrower:

1. The plants crowd each other and thus block a ton of light to the lower leaves. On my second grow I will put a max of three plants in.

2. The grower is 3 feet tall so your little lady starts at a height of 3 feet which may limit your ability to grow a tall plant depending on the height of your room. My room has 10ft ceilings and I am hanging my light down about a foot from the ceiling which gave me about 5 ft of growing room. My lady wanted to be taller but I had to tie her up and trim that her bush.

Lastly, I must of purchased a defective unit bec. mine developed some hairline cracks at the bottom which leaked water (in the middle of flowering). I called GH (general hydroponics) and they not only sent me a new one with out a receipt but threw in a bunch of free nutes and a t-shirt to boot. Great customer service! I will be a loyal customer forever.

I don't know how old this post is, but I would definately like to say I love this unit. I just got one about two weeks ago, transplanted three clones into it so far and they are doing great. This is definately not the cheapest way to go(I have two other 20 five gallon buckets with a recirculated drip systems), but man, if you have the cash it is definately a nice addition. The height thing is kinda a pain, but then again, I have a huge system with 5gallon buckets, so I am use to adjusting for it. I like how this system in contained, it makes things alot simpler. The crowding problem is only a issue if you are growing huge plants, but if that is the case, it is way better to build a custom system. The guy I got it from was growing and flowering in a short tent and getting decent yeilds, so it just depends on what you are trying to use it for. I plan on just using it for shorter autos, so there is no problems with crowding for me. All and all, I would definately give this system a 9 out of 10, GH definately has some great products.
