EC Question

Im running a hydro drip feed in hydroton i got the set up through a hydro store in Australia the owner recommended run your EC around 2.5 from about 3 weeks old i did some research and read 1.3 was average so ran it at 1.5 no problems now im running it at 2.3 for flower with no issues my question is why does everyone say no higher then 1.8 and average aroung 1.5 im running 2.3 and no issues do i keep running at that ec.

if your plants loog good then go by that not what others say. two clones from the same mother will have different nutrient requirements if grown in different environments. temps, humidity, vpd, lighting source, shit, even altitude above sea level effect the plant in different ways. just watch your plants closely for any deficiencies or toxicity, things move quickly in hydro. keep detailed notes and your on your way!

It all depends on how often the plants get feed in a day. The more irrigations you use the lower the ec needs to be. Simple as.
